Jack has the following to say about the new album:
When Virgin Steele put out its first album in 1982 we were asked by the record company to say a few words about it and why people should buy it ... I remember all of us discussing the various influences we had and what the songs were about, I recall one member saying people should buy the album because it has some great songs that were very heavy and had cool riffs, I recall someone else in the band saying the vocals were killer and the drums were like thunder and that metal fans would like it, Someone else said the guitar playing is really great. But what I remember most is when the bass player uttered these simple words "Buy It...It's Good".

Getting kind of Sabbath's Heaven and Hell vibe on a few parts. But this is way more epic. This guy's vocals go perfectly with this kind of music. You always get great singers Jack .

In this age range, you must be careful when headbanging. If your wig tape isn't strong enough, the wig may fall off. That's just reality when you're still rocking at retirement age, which I do respect greatly.

Jack Starr ,,, I don't know if I can explain this exactly how a professional Musician might,,,but the layers of Sound are exactly right where they need to be ,,,your Vocalist is dead on with pitch,,and most importantly your Guitar work is coming in at all the right levels being subtle and allowing everything else to be heard,,,, Basically the emphasis is on the whole song and Band not just on yourself as some other Jaded Guitarists seem to think it's got to be all about them,,,I will be buying this when it's released for sure .
Thanks Paul , I am glad that you noticed that ,Burning Starr is a band effort and I try to play for the song and leave the guitar acrobatics for people that do it better than I do lol, I am very happy with the sound and that is also a team effort as the co producer Kevin Burnes reamps my original solos and puts them thru some state of the art Bogner amps and also add harmonies , and doubles and besides doing that he also played a great solo on one of the songs

not sure what you mean Ivonne but whatever it is, trust me when the new Demons Behind Me video comes out next week I think you will like that one a lot more especially if you are into the sound from the last 2 albums more than this first song , PS personally I love Souls but I think its the least heavy song on the album and also the only one with that mid tempo feel
