■ About Roberto Plano
Award-winner at the Van Cliburn, Honens, Geza Anda, Dublin, Valencia and Sendai Competitions, Roberto Plano shined with winning at the Cleveland International Piano Competition in 2001. That event marked the start of his tours, especially in North America, and immediately projected him to a brilliant international concert career. Critics defined him “the Pavarotti of the piano” for his lyricism and the “successor of Rubinstein and Horowitz. In the autumn of 2016, he became the first Italian pianist to become a Faculty Member of Piano at Boston University. He was recently awarded the American Prize. He’s the first Italian musician to receive this prestigious prize. Cherished both as soloist and chamber music pianist, he’s today a Faculty Member of piano at one of the most prestigious musical institutions in the world, the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Besides the major American Universities, his master classes and concerts are held in Japan, Taiwan and Italy.

Why on Earth it has not gotten a million views?
Cause you need a brain to dig this
I didn't know the tremolo of the guitar could be imitated so well in the piano, this arrangement sounds great
Amazing..., absolutely fantastic, what an extraordinary arrangement for piano of this beautiful piece of F. Tárrega, this is the first time I am listening to this preciosity. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thanks, "Fazioli Pianos", for the post, it's a delightful gift !
Wunderbar!
Assolutamente meraviglioso. Grande performance!! Complimenti e un grande like!!! 👏👏👏👏👍

A masterful performance of a stupendous transcription... with an original style and technique full of beautiful melancholy. Bravo!
Excelente me sorprendió. Nunca imaginé está obra en piano. Saludos desde Argentina
Sometimes i check out some pieces from the classical guitar world on piano. Usually it is ok, but i miss something... It's ok because it is written for another instrument. BUT: This is fantastic. It is really like the guitar piece played on the piano, just beautiful.
Ufff, 🤯🤯🤯 Impresionante en todos los matices.
Fabulous
Bravo!!!
Impresionante....
Lovely! What more can I say…😊❤❤❤
Muito bonito!
bravoooo ...
Amazing 👏
Grazie tante e buona serata.
Its possible send me the score?
better than playing on violin, but this piece still belongs to guitar.
I don't remember the Alhambra like that.
Almost great… the tremolo has great tone but he loses it on the trills (arguably the hardest part on the guitar as well). Other pianists play the trills better but I think this guy has the best tone, just needs to work out those trills… maybe bring out the melody more as well
What trills????? Not one in entire piece. Melody expertly balanced with surrounding harmonies. Take it you are NOT a pianist.
The trill is a musical ornament consisting of a rapid alternation between two adjacent notes, usually a semitone or tone apart, which can be identified with the context of the trill. It is sometimes referred to by the German Triller, the Italian trillo, the French trille or the Spanish trino
