My dad worked on the upgrade too the plant a few years before the closure, I think him and his mates put a new substation in for the power supply. I seem to remember him telling me that they wouldn’t close it because after they upgraded it, it was one of if not the most efficient plants in Europe. Good work billy 👍👊 toon toon💪
