DL was a breathe of fresh air during that dark "spin to win" and 6 switch-ups per rail/ledge era of rollerblading

Man, I remember first seeing him as “Arizona’s best kept secret” in the Medium Team video: Children of the Night. He was already crushing it!

He is definitely one of the greatest skaters of all time his style the things he did in roller blade in the way he did it. He was just amazing to just watch skate. Absolutely amazing, and such a nice guy as well, very humble.

He is originally from Arizona. I grew up in the Arizona skate scene. Diffidently an Arizona native.

I still enjoy watching the creativity from Dustin's sections, but I'm ashamed to admit I've never found his style particularly aesthetically pleasing. Please don't hurt me guys 😬

What about Dustin style did you not like. His style did change. in the early days he was not quite the creative long hair loose clother skating style. When he started skating Xjsado his style was a lot more creative free street skating.

Before Haffey and Broskow there was the greatest street skater Dustin Latimer. I put Haffey as the greatest street skater of all time, and next Dustin Latimer, then Alex Broskow. Factoring in amounts of tricks and trick difficulty and style. If you skate and you know how tricks feel and how difficult they are. When you watch Latimer video parts you realize why he was considered the greatest. Skaters just cant land a lot of the tricks he does. I am so Hyped thar Dustin Latimer has a pro skate dropping. So Dope of USD to remember the true OG of the sport.

Yea, he's from Arizona originally. JB Snyder (who made Saltless Water, Stereotypes, Tek 1 and 2, and Quality with Dustin) is from the Chicago suburbs and just traveled a lot to film others

Nobody has changed the way people skate more than DL. He entered a lot of comps early on and won a couple but as soon as he achieved the status/pull to not, he didn't. I just don't think he saw rollerblading as a competitive sport.
