Depthsounder helps a lot and worth the money. Study charts, phone apps like navionics is very popular. Putting in the time to find broken ground of weed and sand. You all ways want to be fishing in the sand to avoid tangles in the weed. Fish won't touch your bait if there is weed on it.

30s is good this spot is a Demersal spot but the kgw are by catch, being demersal ban we thought let's go have some fun, Drop hook size small bait and bag out pretty quick buddy🎣🐟 we drop on reef for some reason we seen them there for years and years🤙 smaller ones stay inshore for around 3-4years bigger ones deeper🤙😁💯🐟🎣

I wish I knew how to find them, anytime I burley I don’t seem to get them. Weedy/sandy whatever and still can’t get them with smaller long shank hooks and strips of squid. Like today I went to Werribee south, beautiful grounds managed 9 nice flatheads but no KG.

30s is good this spot is a Demersal spot but the kgw are by catch, being demersal ban we thought let's go have some fun, Drop hook size small bait and bag out pretty quick buddy🎣🐟 we drop on reef for some reason we seen them there for years and years🤙 smaller ones stay inshore for around 3-4years bigger ones deeper🤙😁💯🐟🎣

Hey champ this spot holds demersal fish if we drop down a big bait a monster would be on🎣🐟 just never target them because of the bigger hooks usually a by catch if we get them, so we decide being the demersal ban let's down grade hooks to size 2 little bit of squid and they came up thick and fast so many there sounder was lit the whole time🎣🐟🙏💯🎥

I wish I knew how to find them, anytime I burley I don’t seem to get them. Weedy/sandy whatever and still can’t get them with smaller long shank hooks and strips of squid. Like today I went to Werribee south, beautiful grounds managed 9 nice flatheads but no KG.
