Now whenever I listen to BFF I'm just gonna picture a grumpy Gavin Lee sitting offstage, glaring at Ethan and Danny as everyone else abandons him for the dressing rooms.
There's a real sweetness to Gavin Lee. There is just something wholly likeable about him.

These 25 min went by SOOO fast! Gavin Lee is one of the people in the musical theatre industry whom I most admire obviously bc of his talent but mostly bc of his dedication to every character he's played. Hope he gets that Tony 🐙💖

That's so nice! I'm actually sending fan mail to him and Wesley but I'm from Mexico so I have to send it from the US so its not as expensive. But I hope to be sending them soon! Go Gaviiiiin

And yea i definitely have to remind it to ppl daily (my friends are so tired of me) !! His role as Squiddy will always have a special place in my heart---
His tap dancing performance is definitely THE highlight of the show.......and i could ramble for hours about how he nailed Squidward's character, the musical really succeed in giving depth to its characters and nailed the casting! (We don't talk about Ethan Slater ☠️)

He was amazing in Mary Poppins (the original UK cast) as Bert. Also in the musical CONTACT in the west end.
He is now playing Lumiere in the UK tour, going into the west end soon.
How does everyone just walk past the building, without staring in the window?
I have been watching anything to do with spingebob the musical. When my daughters performing arts school announced that they where doing spongebob for the inters 12 to 16 Yr old, I thought surely this is wrong and the younger ages should be doing it. Then my daughter introduced me to the music.
We are lucky as have the UK tour next year coming, but also my daughters school is the 1st uk amateur production of spongebob, because of the UK tour they have been sent notes on what they cannot cut out and what they have to include. They where allowed to gender flip some characters, my daughter wanted plankton but they had to audition either male or female part. For male parts they sang simple sponge. She is so happy as she gets to be plankton, and she has the rap already upto speed, in fact sometimes they make her do it quicker so it's easier at the speed. They have a great girl that is a fantastic tap dancer for squidward.

The show is for all ages just like the original TV show you'd be surprised by how many adults love Spongebob
