This series is by far may favorite. I mostly fish ponds just because they are more accessible. I can get in a short fishing session. Awesome job brotha.

We had a early winter this year. November never got above 55 degrees and the Christmas season was 11 degrees and had 3 days that never got above freezing.
Pond tip from a pond fisherman: get a lure retriever. There is 100% probabilty that you will get snagged. BassPro has a decent lure treiever that loops on your line. Feel your pain when loosing crankbaits. But feels better getting it back.

Dont feel bad about getting kicked out of a pond. Not the first;not the last. It comes with the experience of pond fishing. I myself am a pond fisherman and have been kicked out at many locations. Dont have a boat.
Tyler: on ponds, if you feel like you got a hit and there’s no wieght on your line it could be that a bass just slapped your bait. If you get like “bibble, nibble” twice then you have small panfish just messing with you.
I'd love to go out and fish wherever there's water. But EVERYTIME I encounter a "landowner" it makes the time to relax impossible. I hate to use this as an excuse not to get out as much as I do, but I usually avoid weekends off the bank just for this reason. I promise to push myself out in the kayak more this year

Hey Tyler I know this an out of the blue question but I’m going fishing tomorrow at some old rock mine ponds and I live here in Florida and we have a cold front coming through. It’s gonna be windy and about 60 degrees when I go out and I’m not sure how I should fish it. We’ve had some pretty hot weather lately but also some chilly nights. It’s really deep and it immediately drops off right at the bank. What would you do? I’ve seen some big fish in there but I’ve mostly caught dinks and one five. I’m thinking the bigger ones are really deep.
