They've rigged the game so the first player can never get over 199. They only pick questions whose #1 answers, in total, add up to less than 200. This way, they never had that "dead" time and instead create more drama, keeping people glued to the TV.
They should have more than 5 questions to survey for the fast money round. Then gather the 5 questions where the top 1 answers sum 200 or more. That'd be nice
They need to change prize money from $20000 to $25000. Other shows raise their prize winnings so why can’t family feud which is also run by same company that produces the price is right.

In Richard Dawson's Era it happened twice where two people each at different times got two hundred points on their own. I saw clips on RUclips. I wasn't alive during the Richard Dawson Era of Family Feud. I do miss Richard Karn being host of Family Feud sometimes. I do love Steve Harvey though because Steve and Richard Karn were and are my favorites in Family Feud always during my life time. Richard Dawson was okay

4:37. So column 1 are all number 1 answers and column 2 answers looks like a tie for number 1 (temperature and blood pressure are both 31) and at least two number two answers (6:00 am and Pepsi). (You can tell something is the number 2 if it takes over half the remaining points -they all add to 100) when subtracting the number 2. But you can tell the number 2 answer can only be so high because it can’t be the higher than the 1. It’s possible that 315 was mathematically the best score that could be obtained on this final round. Even though we don’t know all the number two answers we know the most they could be was another 33 points and I think it’s less. I’m thinking there is likely a number 2 between seat belt (34 points) and safety harness (9 points) and mother in law (24 points) and husband (14 points) that could have added points but I’m not sure how much higher than 315 it could have gone.

Probably the record for while Steve is the host but a contestant on one of the older series like 80s I think had got 200 and the host asked the 2nd player 5 random non sense questions and confused her then said turn around and look at the board. She then saw they had 200 before she even came out.

I have worked in multiple different settings within the medical field and never had I had a doctor to take vital sign. That is the job of the medical assistant in a clinical setting, PCT or nurse in a hospital setting, or a certified nurse assistant or nurse in a skilled or assistant living setting. A doctor will have his receptionist take a vital sign before he do.

People, not all questions will make you able to score 200, a simple question like "where you live" will do the number 1 answer something obvius like "a house" with a lot of points, here in the video coca-cola has 60 points. A complicated question or with a lot of points of view will give you less, like in here, first one, number one, 24 points... You just need the correct set of questions.
Maybe they could incetivise any total that reaches beyond 300, or even 250. That would keep the excitement up in all those final rounds were the first player got some 170-something points amassed

There were 12 people that gave different answers. There is Dr. Pepper, Shasta, RC Cola. Yes Pepsi and Coke Cola are hands down the most recognizable names, but there are other answers.
At first glance that my be an exciting idea but what I like at family feud is that everything "feels" fair and square. There are "good" questions where the number one answers do not sum up to over 200 points. Over all I think that the questions get worse and the show feels unfai.
I gotta say, Amy gave some good answers in her own right. Not to mention, she didn't get flustered when she was buzzed the way some other contestants get.

People have scored 200 in the first round of fast money......in old episodes before steve Harvey. Because the producers want the second player to have a chance and if the first player gets all number 1 answers they know it would be tough for the second player not to repeat a answer. Out of 100 people, 60 people said Coca-Cola, and 28 said Pepsi. That still leaves 12 people. What did these last 12 people even say? I know other cola brands exist, but who actually remembers RC Cola or Faygo over Coke and Pepsi?
Honestly, this is one of the easiest fast-money rounds ever. brands of Cola, there are really only 2 (giving those 2 answers totaled 88 points alone) Gym rat - top 2 answers totaled 84 points Doctor takes your (what) - top two answers 62 points). It was really hard not to get this one right.
There's an episode when the late Ray Combs was the host where the 1st person got over 200. So Ray played a joke on the 2nd person and asked made up questions like name one of the 3 stooges etc.

There's an episode when the late Ray Combs was the host where the 1st person got over 200. So Ray played a joke on the 2nd person and asked made up questions like name one of the 3 stooges etc.
@@joa5641 It's just not possible. It's not a coincidence that every person that's gotten all the #1 answers (and there's actually been many) has only been able to attain 198 or 199 maximum. The producers think it's better television having two people in the final round instead of one.
It has to happen that the first contestant gets all 200 points, goddamit! Make it possible! You even made these questions here very easy so the could win, why not 200 points in the first round and some kind of joke for the second?
