Hey Nick this is Tommy I met you today around the meramac . I’ve watched you for the past 4 years and your videos have always made my day and taught me a lot. My dream job is to do what you do and tournaments along with that, I’ve had a good start with sponsors for tournaments. Next time you plan on going to west over I can tell family and they’ll give you anything you need or want to have the best experience. Thank you again for letting me stop by and talk. You make the best videos out there, and are a huge inspiration.

Your truly a friend of nature and trying to help that bowfin and I have done the same to some fish around here! Have a fun and great weekend! Be safe and take care! See you next adventure!

I wanna check out some spillways, but here in East Tennessee, there's not much room for "spillways".... But when I go to Nashville it's a lot flatter landscape so I'm sure there are some around there! Haven't had the chance to cast a line out there yet, but soon 🤞. Thanks for the vids Nick!

Those Grinnel are a lot of fun. Their mouths are so bony they are hard to hook. That's why most people use a treble hook on a steel leader. They are very aggressive. I was fishing the Big Muddy one day and had a good sized Drum on a stringer in the water in front of me. The current had the Drum pushed down from me and against the bank. Visibility was pretty good and I could see the Drum just fine. After awhile I looked back down and there was the smallest Grinnel I had ever seen. He was lined up like in a formation behind the Drum. The drum was about twice the size of the Grinnel, so I figured my fish was safe. After a few more minutes the Grinnel shot right up behind the drum and bit over half it's tail off.

Have you ever used circle hooks. You don't have to rip the line to hook the fish. You let the line pull tight and the fish will hook itself in the corner of its mouth. I thought it was crap until I tried them and now I use them regularly when fishing in Australia
