He was absolutely terrible in game 3. But redeemed himself in game 4 and 5
goes to show that what OG needed was Ana to be back. And with NoTail finally accepting the fact he's not a good carry anymore, all they needed was to get someone else, and their bet on a new player paid off. Topson with his unique mid heroes (that pretty much only him plays, as the rest stick to the traditional mids) was key as well. And Ceb, for such a long time considered the joke of the team, the poor man's S4, what a godlike performance on Axe. He and Ana singlehandedly kept the team together on Game 4. And then Jerax probably the best position 4 in the world. Finally getting a TI.

He probably played like a god on axe the space is insane from him he turned a 3 man gank to kill the top networth bloodseeker. Countless calls on an overconfident 1000hp morphling.
He is a bit of a dick at times but toward the people precious to him he is very passionate. And without his Axe they would not archieve this championship at all. Regardless, hes a damn good player
I can't stop watching this series, amazing performance by both teams. One of the best series of all time and it's a TI final, damn...
OG : Topson who is always coming back right up despite of the bad team fights. NOtail who give them constant advice during ups and downs to escalate the OG's confidence. Jerax a unbelievable man who's hero is everywhere and always there on right time to make excellent execution to turn around their situation in OG's favor. Ceb who boost their game capacity, reminding the team that "there is hope the game is not yet over" "lakad matatag". Ana the light of the team, lifts his allies and saves the day for them. Although I really dont know what does he saying in the interview "What". Congratulations guys...OG more power no more chat wheels for u guys..hahah

Game 5 truly shows their playstyle. It’s amazing how each small cool play builds up to a teamwipe. It’s so satisfying to see their own slow but secured comeback. Rubick, magnus, furion, zeus, and ember all played their strengths well.

the chinese team was very well balanced and very calculated which is why they came out on top of almost all laning phases, but they did however get outdrafted for late game in game 4 and crumbled under pressure in game 5, which was actually expected from OG, but great run nonetheless, congrats to OG fans and wp LGD

Ana is an exceptional player with pl but he had the 2 sec doppelganger talent. that being said his juke with pl and phantom rush switching and illusional baiting are absolutely brilliant but most players at his level (9k+) I would expect to do similar things. But his ember spirit is the best in the world he dodges 2 echo slams with euls and since echo is instant cast that just unbelievable.

Wow! The whole TI8 was AMAZING. Many comebacks and stomps have occured and unpredictable matches were everyday. With the group stage results i was thinking for sure that EG would win, but OG from qualifiers to grand final was astonishing. Liquid was my favourite and i wanted them to take first two time aegis but it didnt happen. LGD was superior whole tournament from day one. Ame and Maybe were flawless, fy was great the whole team was great. Chinese curse may be broken but if LGD continues to play like this they will win some majors aswell. Liquid were great aswell. Matumbaman's brood was very good and miracle delivered but i personally think that MC and Gh were better last year. KOTL is out of meta so GH cannot play him all the time which is a bit upsetting Great tournament from side of liquid. Then EG. Sumail really showed us how good he is. Arteezy was great too, but Ame was just better. Fly was actually mediocre he was good on phoenix imo and s4 was pretty good. That sumail strat on alch radiance and blink was great. Then my biggest dissapointment- VP. Holy shit do these guys choke. I could not beleve that they always lose when big tournaments occur. I mean they played well but not good enough. Noone had good KDA and i think rodjer was good replacement but i just think it aint meta for VP. Then VGJ storm. Reso is my hero. He was just soo good i couldnt beleve. Amazing plays whole tournament. Yawar is good but not on level of maybe and such players. Mss also good. Secret was good too. Midone delivered. I think ace did too but less than other pos1. Wp to puppey gl next time. Mineski just not good enough. No hate to mushi he just didnt deliver. They had good teamplay. ViciGaming optic all those teams are good. Just not on level. The last team was TNC. I love TNC but i was a bit dissapointed in their plays. Raven is one of my fav pos1 and he was decent. Now the meta heroes. Venge and tiny were most picked. No suprise there they are good. I love that clinkz is in the meta and spectre but oh my is PL annoying. I personally enjoy this meta aldoe i would like more variety to it. Dark seer didnt see play which was for me sad. The 212 may be boring but non the less it was balanced. I loved how many suprises this ti had. Like ww pos3. Ench was rly good too and i loved the io gyro combo. Love how chen and silencer were frequent picks. But my most fav meta hero was storm. God i love storm in professional games. Kaya just gold on the hero. Maybes storm was best imo. I wanted to see more pudge sandking and spirit breaker but its allrighy. Love how OG picked some off meta like treant or disruptor. My fav series definetly eg vs og (i dont count finals) and my fav match was fnatic liquid 39-1 LOL. Most exciting was def last game og vs eg. I loved this TI and i hope next will be even better.

Was watching game 4 on the tv screen and we were all at the edge of our seat and jumping in excitement. So much hype. What an amazing grand finals
For those people who are saying topson sucks. Yes it really is, but if i were him i would be scared and anxiuos too thats why he continously misclicking when u watched it live . sitting on the stage with thousands/millions watching gives u anxiety. I understand topsons perspective and, still, he did well. Best TI ever, most hated team but won without any star player.
Also Topson really carried them in game 1 of 5 with his MK play!
Yeah each one of them has some suck/shitty games but every 1 of them steps up when they needed it most. semi finals vs LGD also that jerax echo with topson holding then game 1 of the finals Jerax shaker then game 3 that cebs axe was saving the day and ANA's PL then that game 5 with ANA's out of this world plays. if 1 of that play didn't goes as it happened I doubt they would win the TI I am just amazed that at least 1 of them can step up when they needed it most.

Even though this series has been so amazing to watch, but still the ti3 finals have just been way more thrilling, this one comes second after ti3 finals!
This two teams worth to be the champion. For OG, they never give up even LGD owing them in the early stage in 5 games. I respect their sportsmanship. For LGD, they beat all the potential champion like VP, Team Liquid, EG, but except OG. Their path to grand final is not easy. Btw congratulations to OG for winning this wonderful tournament.

yeah even tho ti 3 gives 5 games aswell but remember some of the match last for like 16 minutes
while this ti8 all matches last for more than 40 minutes and both teams has winning chance truoghout every round
