Stage actors impress me, every night they go for broke without the benefit of second takes or sound editing. I believe that's what makes a play more exciting then a movie, it's real and it's happening right in front of you. Well sung Ms. Fletcher. :)

matthew walker this works better with head voice but breath in on a yawn and it makes the vocal chord more flexible
I worked on this with a singing teacher and she could not believe I wanted to belt that out😂😂
I played Wednesday a couple of years ago in Spain. Now I'm going with the other two Wednesdays from our production on a trip to Bath to see the show. We're SO THRILLED!
Also, each one of us is going to wear one of the three outfits, so if you see three super nerds in the audience, that's us! haha

Love love love that your accompanist is clearly recognized in the video and title! As someone who occasionally plays piano with solo vocalists I have a serious respect for the talent required for songs like this one and it's shocking how often the instrumental musicians go unnoticed in situations like this. Wonderful rendition! xx
Zoe Raisbeck The accompanist is the composer, lyricist and producer of The Addams Family Musical! He most definitely deserves all the recognition 😁. Though I agree that it takes just as much skill and taken to play a song like this as it does to sing it and everyone deserves credit :)

Listened to this on repeat as I'm reminiscing The Addams Family production today. Stage actors have all of my respect and more. They don't have there opportunity to retake a line, song or scene. They work their socks off to make that performance be as amazing as the very first.
I have no idea how people ever doubted Carrie's ability to portray Wednesday. I couldn't imagine anyone else singing this.

Awwwww Carrie this was amazing! I really do want to come and see it!!! When technical rehearsals start please tweet or something explaining the technicalities. I can't do loud bangs or flashy lights. I've tried searching to see if there will be any relaxed performances but there is no information as of yet. I can cope with concerts because I can just sing(more like shout horrifically) and dance it off. I've never been to the theatre not even a panto because of how messed up my sensory system is 😑 Might be going to see a special performance of the Lion King in Summer :O This would be a really cool first show to see though!
Btw fully aware you aren't going to know everything about the show, I'll keep checking the website to see if an accessibility section appears :)
I hadn't realized Andrew Lippa did The Addams Family! I recently discovered A Little Princess, and I just wish I had known about it when I was about seven. I identified with Sara SO MUCH when I was little. This musical looks awesome too! Wish I could see it, but I'm just barely missing you (I'm going to Ireland in June/July).

Absolutely hands down the best performance from you I have EVER seen by FAR! We always knew you were mind blowingly talented (not to mention humble, considerate, bold and giving) but THIS has blown my mind. I'd never heard the song or seen this musical and yet I could understand her character and situation from your emotion and intonation, accents in parts, facial expressions and lots besides. Honestly, what I think is amazing is when someone who through her community and work of her own right has enriched my life and others' lives so much can still completely shock you and blow you away with a brand new level. I know the chance is you shall never read this, Carrie, but on the off chance you do, I truly hope you're as proud of yourself as I am.
