I love this video because even though I don't understand all the words, from the knowledge of Norsk that I do have, I can usually get the gist of what you are talking about. I also like to come back to this video every now and again to see if I understand more than I did before. Tusen takk Karin!
Takk! I'm in between learning stages. It was nice to hear. Even if I didn't understand some of it. Some videos out there talk so fast i cannot grab the words.
I wouldnt go as far as to say its easy at least it wasnt for me from England, but finding out what we needed paperwork wise was half of the problem ;) Your norwegian is brilliant. Glad you have got on so well. Great vid Karin

As an Englishman that's been living in Norway for the past 2 years it's pretty weird to hear someone else from England speak norwegian. It makes me wonder what I sound like to other people.. I've never met anyone else from England that could speak norwegian, nice to know there's a few more of us out there! :))

@@programclu1 I love it here, can't see myself ever moving back to England. Really enjoy the calm and chilled way of life over here. A lot less everyday stress imo. Yourself?
@@crossjadam Nice thats great to hear! Yeah I am happy here and really like it. Have struggled to find good work but apart from that I think I do prefer it. It's nice to visit home now and again but I never feel the desire to be there permanently.

very interesting video, I'm italian and I understood about 90% of the conversation without problem. And I don't even live in Norway already but I go there often to meet my friends :-)

I would say that the Swedish accent is more easily attainable by British folk, but the authentic Norwegian accent is much more attainable to North Americans ( Americans and Canadians). Just an observation.

Jeg flytte til Norge i fjor. Jeg så på alle dine videoer og så hadde jeg et app i telefonen som heter Fun easy learn Norwegian.
Når jeg hadde flyttet trengde jeg å øve å snakke norsk så jeg gik innom neste bibliotek og fand ut å de hadde Språkkafe hver mandag og jeg har bare gått glipp av to mandager siden i februar. Håpe det hjelper noen

I can understand some Norwegian words but it's a little bit difficult because l come from France and I have some Ibsen novels written in Norwegian language

Fantastisk video :-) Jeg kan ikke forstar alle med min ører... Men med tekster kan jeg lese og forstar bedre. Jeg er ogsa fra England. I August besokte jeg Oslo og gikk til Alfaskolen til forbedre min Norsk. Det var fint :-) Etter dette, gikk jeg hjem og praktisert i England. Jeg har mye å lære, men forbedre jeg sakte. Det er bra å høre fra andre som har laert Norsk også :-)

English is an amalgamate of several languages from europe, so If you listen past the accent you can understand a few words.
