Would be a lot more comperable if you choose cheap Logitech items.
Yeah, these comparisons are pretty pointless. You are comparing premium to budget, when you should be comparing budget branded to budget amazon
@@Uncover48 The point was that these pop up as "amazon recommended items" when purchasing those products, ipso, the algorithm on the site decided they were equivalent. Jo schmo is going to see a recommended product with the Amazon name on it and go, "jeez that's 1/5th the price, thank god, now I can save some money". That's the point.
@@DuncDog but then again if you get tempted by the price you didn't care about the quality anyway.
Duncan Hansel I get your point, but if you think about the audience of this channel (or anyone with a bit of common sense), who would think that something that costs $15 is a good replacement for something that costs $100.
G102 is cheap and dank.
This doesn’t make sense
Gotta compare cheap to cheap boys, not cheap to expensive
Shahaab Sherwani right
It does make sense because amazon is saying that they should buy amazon products instead of logitech's so the brought it upon themselves for it to be compared
the point is that amazon recommends these items when you shop for those more expensive products.
Amazon Basics
Mouse: it points
Keyboard: it types
Speakers: they make sound
This is all I expect
I know right, I mean it's called Amazon Basics for a reason...
Typing this on a 28 dollar mechanical keyboard by the brand of "Sunsonny", as recommended by Linus Tech Tips.
It even has RGB. Comes from Amazon(.de).
As for wireless; Microsoft also sells 25 dollar keyboard & mouse combo's that are not even complete garbage.
Sure, Amazon Basics does the trick, but if you think it's your best budget option, you should probably do some research.
On average Amazon Basics is the level of stuff you'd buy at the dollar store. That keyboard is available somewher for 5.99. The speakers probably for 7.99.
That mouse seems reasonably good value.
What Amazon does here is make it sound cheap, so you think it actually is cheap. But it's not, really.
@@rollingtroll AHA DEUTSCHER HIER
@@technic23 Dutch here! But we don't have amazon here and you guys do free shipping. Thanks! ;)
mouse: points at the sun then gets incinerated
keyboard: types 10 of each letter when you click a button
speaker: plays static, then plays the most high pitched sound that humans can hear.
"To be fair, we're not here to judge the mouse... and now that it's broken, we'll never get to judge it."
*Austin looks back at possibly broken mouse, concerned*
You vs. The guy she tells you not to worry about..
I don’t get it
I dont get it either. I'm sitting here trying to figure out but still dont get it. 😑
@@junb6598 it's a meme..
Fine take my like. I hope ur fucking happy
@@LucyTheCat oh ok I see 😁
I mean it's called Amazon *basics* for a reason
Lol
Next time you guys do this, I kind of want a 3rd option of what you feel the amazon recommendation should be. Like a median where it’s reasonably cheep, feels great, and works great.
I thought "This Is" was supposed to be educational
I think he mixed up his channels
BREAKING: Cheap items are lower in quality compared to the expensive option.
Matt when his boss break stuff in front of the camera:
"To be fair, we're not here to judge the mouse... and now that it's broken, we'll never get to judge it."
The amazon basics iphone charging cord has lasted me like 4 years compared to Apple's one which lasted me like 1 year
Owen Brewster 1 day? 1 month? 1 year? 1 second? Lol

Apple subpar charger vs amazon basic
Not all Amazon Basics products are bad. I bought a Amazon Basics tripod for my camera two years ago and I still have it and it works perfectly. Obviously i realise that not all AB products are good, but that's why you need to check the reviews of the products. Not only on Amazon.
Awesome brother I Love your videos & always watching. Thank you!
I have the k780 at home! It's possibly one of my favorite wireless keyboards to use! Round keys are a bit weird at first but they keys feel comfortable after a day or two of regular use!
I have an Mx Master 2 and it’s decided to just stop pairing with my mac! It will work with other computers and my computers bluetooth is working just fine. Any ideas? I think it has to do with an update but I can’t be sure, I hope I can get it working again!
“I don’t like mechanical keyboards” 😂😂
What killed me was right after that "To me that's mechanical." It seems like he doesn't even know what a mechanical keyboard is lol
Can you reasonably game with the Mx master 3? I’m looking for a good mouse that can game and do normal things
I’ve had the same Amazon basic mouse and i daily drives it for a year and a half for light gaming video editing and school use and for a budget it’s actually pretty good and usable
I have the Amazon basic speakers hooked up to my bedroom television ... works great, only wished I'd seen them a few years ago an gotten them sooner.
“YOU PLAYED IT ON THE LOGITECH MATT 😂😂” that part got me dying lol 😂😂😂
*When did this channel turn into a Tech Review channel? I enjoyed the previous facts and news based stuff*
I use the MX Master 2 and that exact keyboard every day and love both. Since they both have 3 device support, I have my monitor, keyboard, and mouse set up and just plug in my Surface Pro 5 or MacBook Pro depending on what I'm working on.
I like the amazon basics cables. They make some long boy usb cables that work just fine. I've had them in micro b, lightning, and c variants and all do just fine for sending data or charging even when you use the 10ft length.
cool video tech talk austin
can you do a video with different mouse from aliexpress or wish.com and compare like you did for keyboard?
can you help me out i play on a acer laptop to play games such as fortnite and csgo but barly can past 30fps on everything on low or off
Take a look at their monitor arms, they rebrand some super high quality arms. I personally use the wall mount single for my 35" ultra wide, super stable arm with tonnes of adjustability. Costs around £80 retail.
Love these videos, I think they're a much better direction for the channel than what was originally being uploaded. Keep it up chaps!
I actually own an Amazon Basics microphone.
It’s actually pretty good for the price.
I have the UK version of the speakers without the branding. Decent for normal desktop stuff. Rarely use for music. If I want to play some music I just connect to my google home through bluetooth.
My old schools computer lab had Amazon basics mouses and keyboards. They were really clicky and satisfying
What's the music they played on the speakers?
Thanks for confirming that products costing about a fourth price are not as good as costlier ones. Nobody would have drawn that co-relation.
Yo this is cool and all but I really enjoyed the old this is videos about interesting facts and history and stuff
What is the model of those Logitec speakers?
Thought this is was a fact channel for interesting stories but it had turned into a second Austin tech channel
I have a 15-year-old set of a desktop Speakers They are meant for mixing audio and music production and are the nicest speakers I’ve ever heard
My favorite pair of budget speakers are the PreSonus Eris 3.5s. They sound great, have tons of inputs, and are monitors, so you can use them for audio mixing and mastering. They also come with over $1000 worth in music creation plugins, which I use daily. You get all of that for only $100.
great video, the logitech keyboard is pretty with it’s rounded keys :)
The speaker issue is why I run a 3 monitor setup with the 3rd monitor being a TV...
I'm still rocking the old Logitech Z-2300 speaker/sub system.
are those speakers now like 250 cad ?
I've use Amazon Basics mice and keyboards. They work fine for me cause I don't aggressively slam on these things and shiny blinky things really really really don't matter at all >.> I've literally had an Amazon Basics HDMI cable for more than 10 years and it worked BEAUTIFULLY.... definitely worth the $7 I paid for it XD
Yeah Amazon Basic cables and adapters are solid pickups
@@Montisaquadeis Their speaker cables aren't marked for plus and minus. Ended up with a Chinese brand instead.

If there's an Amazon Basics monitor or 'gaming' chair I'd watch that.
Linus did a whole series on an Amazon basics gaming set up.
@@HaddaClu This!
Ya but there was no monitor and gaming chair
@@Kuro_kon except that Linus did show an Amazon chair in another video
The Amazon basic speakers are a great deal imo. Sound ok. Have long cords, allowing them to be shared or placed wherever needed. And most importantly, they are durable. They have survived being treated pretty poorly. Dropped multiple times. Once into a five gallon bucked of water. Drained them, let them dry out a couple hours, still working. Have had them for a few years now. So maybe not for an audiophile. But for desk speakers, they are fine.
It's like when you look for an Apple or Samsung Tablet and you get spammed with the Fire HD Tab!!!!!!!!!
I've been using the same 100 pack of Basics batteries for years at this point. As he says "it works for batteries"
Did not realize this was This Is, I thought this was on Austin's main channel 😂
You should try the amazonbasics condenser microphones, especially the Professional one, is blue yeti level or even a little better! (bought one on a sale at €30, a steal)
Matt: I don't like Mechanical keyboards
Austin: Fired
Got a mx master 2 for my gaming mouse lol. It fits so well in the hand.
i like amazon basics for office supplies i have scissors and stapler by amazon basics and they're really good for the price
I'm using a Logitech Anywhere MX right now. Great mouse. The scroll wheel is awesome.
And I'm hoping to replace my Logitech z313 speakers soon. I rocked them for many years and they finally developed a break in the aux cable so they get no sound. Sad day, I loved those speakers.
I usually use Amazon basics for cables. I recently bought a 3 meter cat7 ethernet cable for like £8
You should review a pre made of from amazon and see if it’s good
I've got that all Amazon basics tech setup the mouse, monitor and keyboard
The Microsoft 900 wireless keyboard is only around $25 and is incredibly good, not to mention it comes with a decent mouse
the thumbnail is austin poggers
I like amazon Basics products I’ve bought Bass heavy earphones from them once and they were amazing but I forgot em in my pockets and it got ruined in the laundry sadly
well ive bought some 20 dollar sennheisers.. put them in the washing machine and they still sounded the same.. how much are u going to save on those.. like 10 bucks.. to each their own i guess..
@@larsvegas1505 My 1more iems still work perfectly as well! Went through a bunch of abuse and washes. They now sit on a shelf because my cousin ruined the cables and uh.... they're not replacable, but they still work just fine with decent sound. Have moved on to better iems now
Spending money on actually good audio will change your perspective on sound. It's an experience for everyone.
Amazon Basics cables are okay like for cheap HDMI cables etc. That Amazon Basic keyboard and mouse though you can get something like the Logitech MK320 set for basically the same price (often even cheaper!) and while not amazing or anything they look better than the Amazon set.
I bought the mic and keyboard and they work pretty well.
Using an OG Mx master rn, its worn but works, waiting for the mx master 3 to go on sale.
I bought my Gaming mouse for $1.34 on eBay. My sister bought the exact same one from Wish, which was under 5 dollars? And now both my friends bought there's which again is the exact same one on Amazon for $17. Collectively we all love our mice.
How about doing budget phones, bluetooth wireless headphones, and bluetooth speakers.
Didn't Amazon have it's own gold accented version of the original MX Master?
You should check out the Amazon basics UPS. I have it, and I think it is cool
You guys should do the Walmart brand vs Amazon Basics
We need to make a meme on this
this is just became a video podcast
Isn’t the Mx master just the g502 but no rgb
Amazon basics monitor swivel arms are pretty good
Is this an inlet in the side??
No Austin it’s base it’s the built in subwoofer so to say
let's face it, that was the best studio they shot this is videos in
I have a huge crush on mat
The mx Master should be it's own series. They need to bring back the wave mx performance mouse back
Stopped being a fan of Logitech's mice (still use their speakers though) when I had to replace a trackman every year because the LMB would just keep failing. Switched to a Elecom trackball that's running four years strong now.
Logitech mice use cheap omrons, so there's your problem right there.
But Elecom trackball... nice choice there buddy
As someone who owns the amazon basic speakers for a few years now I will say that they're good budget speakers the only concern with them is that I have is that the led light is EXTREMELY bright I have to put something in front of it so I'm not blinded everytime I use my PC.
I bought the mx sound logitech speakers for my pc. And there amazing 😍
Every speaker review ever, "they won't blow you away or anything"
Talking about the Logitech Speakers.. "is that just an inlet" .. um guys I'm pretty sure that's for air to leave the speaker, so it can produce sound better and pump out good bass :)
I have that amazon basics set of speakers. Worse than the old Amazon Basics set in the sense that they draw enough power that my monitor's USB port cannot power them. Better in the sense that it has a headphone port. Headphone port's audio quality is bad enough to be mostly unusable. Also, I had to use electrical tape to cover the bright LED. Electrical tape works quite well in that role. I forgot that I had covered the LED until I saw this view.
Either way, I am back to using the old set, since my monitor is capable of powering them, and the small green LED is much dimmer than the bright blue glare device in the newer set.
This sounds like thise late night infomercials
I have the older speakers. They're pretty good.
*6:13* when my mouse dies
Would you cut the bass a little bit plz?
You should do broke vs pro but with Amazon Basics
Matt is vibing
Im always vibin 😎
I got a Amazon basics data cable. Its nice
How tf do you not like the satisfying feeling and sound of a mechanical keyboard?!
I have no regrets for buying Amazon Basics over more expensive options, though I have only currently bought two of them. A HDMI cable and a USB Hub. Though to be fair I technically got the HDMI cable for free as it hadn't arrived in over two months so I got my money back and in pure sods law it arrived the very next day. Told Amazon and was prepared to send it back but they said just to keep it.
0:22 idk about you girls, but I would not put amazon basics motor oil into my truck lmfao
I swear Logitech has 40w speakers with a sub in the same style as the Amazon ones which are like £45
8:43 can we get a f 😂😂
I can't go back to any mouse with a ratchet only Scroll wheel. Not being able to fast scroll feels like borderline torture. G502 All Day.
The MX Master 3 is a great mouse. The scroll wheel is so nice 😍
4:34 the Apple mouse whas the worst mouse I've ever used. Weird scrolling and no right button
Austin everytime he sees and Amazon basic product "😧😫🤢"
They have to be so bright so that they can act as an alternative night light, too :P
