In my experience years with bad weather AI is a disaster, so i go with a second easy calving bull problem solved. Those heifers would do well through the ring.
I would have them heifers sold before the xmas.u would get in calf heifers again in February that would be calfing in march or else buy springer with a calf at foot.has the charolais heifer that in calf got pink eye.or else flush them all and try again.ye no the heifers and there breeding.wouldnt be too gone in buying in now tb is very bad at the moment in different areas.
The heifers weren't go after any other heifers that was bulling. The teaser bull had them plastered. When we bulled a heifer that was marked, that same heifer came bulling again 2 weeks later.
So when they are in carfs .when they are born what happens to them when do they hit the food chain does the mother stay on the farm to reproduce more calves
Very bad results, esp for heifers, they shouldall be in calf,is their a trace elementmineral deficiency, time to get the 4legged Bull. They are very good heifers wouldn't take a whole lot to build on a secure pen to facilate a bull.
There is no trace of elementmineral deficiency to our knowledge. The scanning man said that all their reproductive system was fine. I would consider giving them minerals for fertility and see does that help.
I had similar problems a few years ago. Get vet to blood test. I started vaccinating for Lepto and seems to have done the trick so far.

U could have left them get in too good a condition them good limousin heifers. Seem to work best ai ing them at 15 months 😊
Heifers should be very fertile
Some thing wrong.
Maybe you should be using bolus
You may sell them now and maybe buy in a couple in calf

What happened to your teaser bull? Did you not see the heifers bulling over the summer?

If it's heifer calves we keep them as replacements, if it's a bull calf we sell them when there about 2 year olds.
Bull would be a better job we tried ai and had a poor success rate on our heifers for a few years went back to using a bull very few not incalf
Thats a bloody disaster, sell the heifers and buy some springers.
Something seriously wrong there, heifers should be no issue get incalf, you need to either change AI man or buy a bull!
Disastrous results, something badly wrong there. It should be easy to get heifers in calf, they are the most fertile and clean animals on any farm.

Why do ye not rent a bull for the summer
Never really thought about it or discussed it with my father and I don't know about his opinion on it either
