However in the unhygienic conditions, the rats proliferated and overran towns and cities carrying more fleas and disease - hence the bubonic plague broke out.
And the reason why cats were associated with witchcraft is that women who owned ctas (it was usually women) were often spared from the plague, hence their witchcraft.

Loved your video about Norwich. Glad you liked this part of Norfolk. YOU must go paddle boarding on the broads and in Wroxham as the rivers are great there. Also Coltishall has the river and lots of pubs you paddle past, or stop at to eat 🥤🍨🍜. Did you visit Norwich castle?. If you fancy a different activity, try the dry ski slopes at whittlingham , reasonably near ish to Norwich football stadium/ Norwich County Hall . You can ski or have fun tubing.
