A friend of ours sang this song at our wedding in Oct 1984. This song still gives me goosebumps 39 years later .... What a voice Melissa Manchester has! WOW!!
The DJ played this at our daughter's and her new husband's reception in Aug. at my request for my husband and me. I have always thought of this as the ultimate romantic song for a wedding, no matter what the age of the loving couple. Thank you for posting it; so many wonderful memories. Blessings always!

This was my aunt and uncle's last dance at their wedding. I was around four years old and their flower girl. Whenever I hear this song I can remember standing in the circle with the rest of my family/friends and watching them dance before they left for their honeymoon... such vivid memories! If memory serves me right, the October 1995 reformat of Campus Radio 97.1 WLS FM as an Easy Listening Radio Station under the helm of Mike Enriquez played all of the wonderful Easy Listening Love Songs heard through the years, especially when i cried hearing "Looking Through The Eyes of Love" after 18 years on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1996

Ice castles and my deceased sister brought me here. 1989 -4 days after I turned 11 she was 17; she was someone’s prom date & he fell asleep driving and died instantly on impact. She was severely burned and didn’t last more than a few weeks in burn unit. RIP sis, I love and miss you so much. My poor parents

I finally found this song, I remember when I was in 6th grade our Choir teacher thought us this son and Give me one moment in time, and I never really forgot the lyrics, and its a beautiful song that I mostly would sing to God because at that time I was staying at my Fathers sons house, and it was very hard to live there, so this song and many prayers got me trough 6th grade.

That song was sung at a friends wedding probably 13 years ago. A member of the family sang it so beautifully as the bride and groom looked into each others eyes with so much love for each other. Now as I listen to this song it makes my eyes tear up as they are not together anymore.
