Sounds like you had an amazing time at retreat, I have had class's with Linda she is adorable, Cathy Boyd is a friend and an expert stitcher, she is so gracious and sweet. Love the antique sampler, so beautiful. perfect frame for the Sampler, love the biscournu big and beautiful. Your Berry Bowl is lovely, perfect fabric and thread colors. Oh my gosh the bag is beautiful, looks so vintage. I do wish I could have made that class. Stitchers at retreats are so kind with their gift giving. Love the stitch along, I am taking your Jingle Ball class, looking forward to doing so. You are so kind to show other stitchers works, thank-you for sharing with us. We are still Praying for Jean and her healing. Merry Christmas Teresa and Family.
Thank you so much Teresa for sharing your experience with Jean & for the awesome tour of the Attic. For those of us who haven't had the good fortune (yet?) to visit this amazing needlework shop, it was so inspiring to see so many of the models! So glad you had a great visit! Your retreat piece was beautiful & I'll be ready & waiting for that biscornu pattern, for sure! Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours!
Airports are always a trip in themselves. I flew into O’Hare this past spring and waiting in line with me was a lady on her phone calling her ride and telling them she’s at Midway! I didn’t have the heart to tell her she was in the wrong airport, but I did, she was horrified, had no clue and left the area in tears! I don’t know if she ever met her ride. But I think the airlines/airports sometimes makes us crazy on purpose! Glad you had a great retreat. Sounds wonderful.
Just wanted you to know. You were the 1st flosstube I watched. You made me want to cross stitch again. I hadn't stitched for yrs. I love some many of the things you do. So thank you and please keep posting.

Your antique sampler is gorgeous! What a treat it would have been for the retreat goer's. I'll look forward to getting it when it comes out for everyone. And it was so exciting to hear you speak about my Sunshine in Blooms! Thanks for your kindness, Diane
I have been loving the Halloween Sampler but didn’t finish it for this year. (Next year for sure.). The drum finish with the witches is wonderful! That was a really fun row to stitch.
Loved hearing your airport story - I had the same problem last January. Flew Allegiant into Mesa and didn’t realize there was *another* airport in Phoenix, so when it was time to call an Uber to come home, I just picked “airport” off the list, so of course ended up at Sky Harbor. The gate agent told me I was at the wrong airport. She told me it happens several times a week, but I felt like a real dummy and had to pay for another Uber to take me to the right airport. I’ll pay more attention to my surroundings in the future! Really enjoyed hearing all about your Attic retreat. I’m going to Sampler Symposium in January again and can’t wait!
@@kathydecker889 hi Kathy. I feel better now! I bet they get that all the time. It would help if the small airport was just Mesa and not Phoenix-Mesa. Lesson learned for us both!
Haha about airport mix ups. My sister in law was supposed to go from Singapore to San Jose Costa Rica but her assistant booked her to San Jose CA. she got off the plane and was amazed at how much it looked like the US. To her dismay she was in the wrong country. It was a good thing she was able to fly to LA for another flight to Costa Rica. So we met up with her. As you say it all worked out. Take care!
Loved the Christmas music you added at the end. I’m excited to rewatch your vlogmas from last year. I hope you have time to do some whatcha paintin Wednesday soon ❤. Love watching you create. Happy Thanksgiving.
Teresa, there is a cross stitch store (and more, yarn, punch needles, knitting and crochet among others, but the majority of the store is cross stitch) in Bay City here in Michigann called The Stitching Well. It's been there over 40 years so she has old and new along with a TON of flosses, from DMC to over-dyed, to silks, with many different brands to choose from. I've spent longer than 4 hours in that store while kitting up projects, but yes, about 4 hours is usually the amount of time I'm in there! I love that store, and the owner along with her employees are wonderful! Check it out sometime!!! Edit here - if you were to call the owner or talk to any one of her employees there to let them know you are making a trip there to visit their shop, they would DIE and LOVE IT!!!! Lol!!!! Ha! At first they may not believe it's really YOU!!! Lolol!!!!!! It IS worth the trip, in my opinion!!!! A beautiful store FULL of models everywhere you look that mainly the owner has stitched over all the years! It's breathtaking!!!!! She does not have any large social media accounts, just an FYI. I wish she did!!!
