Another great video, Sheldon! Your subscribers learn lots watching your design come to fruition. It’s all happened so quickly as well, good job!
Thanks Bill!
Always enjoy seeing the iterations of your design. Thanks for going through the effort to share them!
Thanks! It's been a fun project to work on.
Great work layout coming along very nicely Enjoyed the share. Take care and keep enjoying the hobby Thanks
Thanks Mike.
Always planning and playing around is the best way! Great design it's gonna be fun! Can't wait to see you operate these facilities! - Gary
Appreciate the positive feedback!
Intéressant ! Finally I will get to see a more to scale paper mill plant. I personally have two. A BIG one witch takes a whole 9 x 10 room and a smaller one sitting on a 10 foot serie of 3 modules. Course I had to mainly use Walthers kits (recovery, paper mill and Kraft) and scratch built a few of them. Walthers kits are fine but way to small when it comes to model a more to scale mill complex. I will closely keep following your work. Bonne continuation. From LUC - A Quebec resident.
This is really coming together. Loving the track arrangement.
Thanks Jason
Very impressive progress you've made. I appreciate your thoughts on configuring the kits in different ways and allowing them to help you decide how the track plan progresses. Very insightful.
Thanks!
Very informative and entertaining. Looking forward to seeing some switching in the new area.
Thanks! "Test" switching is coming up in the next video.
Looks great
What a expo to show people
Thanks Jack.
Hi Sheldon, Nice video as usual and good decision on the final track plan with the 19 degree diamond. I'm not sure placing a diamond in a road way is such a good idea as diamonds require a lot of maintenance and having them encased in pavement will give your track crews extra work when the time comes. Looking forward to the next video. Joe
Sometimes paving a diamond is the only way to get a road through a congested industrial area.
great job thanks
Appreciate the feedback!
I believe there is a bracket you can get to mount the tortoise horizontally?
Hi Scott. Yes, there are options for mounting tortoises horizontally. I custom designed several linkages on the old layout where I did not have enough clearance for a standard installation. In this case, though, it was not a clearance issue. It was about getting the right amount of force against the points in both directions of throw.
Hey if ur looking for a walthers paper plant i may have what you want. Its built tho
Thanks Martin. Is it the discontinued Kraft Mill kit (933-3900)? I already have three of the more recent Walthers kits.
