Hey Ali, no worries on the Flair's my friend, we all have our limits when it comes to riding. Remember, there's plenty of bmxers out there that would give anything to have the level of trials and performing skills you have. Many years back, I rode my 26' at Scotty Cranmers park in NJ and I remember him saying to me once he wished he had as much balance and trials skills as I did! I was shocked to be honest. #ultimatecompliment 😁
Just goes hat this level of skill doesn't come so much from "natural talent" as it does from relentless hard work and dedication with enormous levels of patience and stamina. really inspiring watching you both work through the tricks. Great vid
Amazing Ali ! Great Vlog ! ..your barrel roll looked excellent! ...Dannys bump frontflips are so clean ! I'm struggeling to do "normal" backflips ...but I won't give up ! Somehow with such tricks...like your flair, it's a battle with yourself ! And what could be better than to have a good friend with you..that knows how to do it, and is willing to teach you ! It's all about the fun...not to get cought in headgames :) Your vlogs are a true inspiration for me ! There are ups & downs...but you never give up ! I really admire this! YOU WILL GET IT
I really like this video, as it shows the process of learning new skills; thanks a lot for showing a glimpse into the hard work and practice that goes into the mastery.
Amazing riding, the way you guys learn stuff so quick is amazing while I struggle learning manuals , back hops and everything in general on a trials bike ( inbetween being sick and rainy days )
Hey Ali Clarkson! I was well entertained by this awesome vid! Keep trying on the flares. You will succeed! You end up too close to the wall so try to pull back earlier. That will direct more of your momentum away from the wall and give you more time to rotate! Your doing excellent! Ride ride ride!
Love the ‘behind the scenes’ stuff that you just dont see thank you it really helps - i laughed when ali said ‘still some commitment issues’ lol i have that issue trying to commit to a manual but im getting better thanks to you and danny and all your videos!
Hello Ali, i think you need to spend more time on the trampoline. you do not look comfortable on the trampoline. master the trick on the trampoline then move back to the bike. your body follows your head. firs you have to get your head around the trick. not the trick around your head. so, my recommendation is spend more time on the trampoline till you get comfortable with the movement. really enjoy your videos. have faith in yourself. first believe in yourself. the mind is a powerful thing. you have more riding ability than you think you do. your mind is telling you your are not good enough. your mind is lying. do not believe it. believe you can do whatever you set your mind to. find a way. you can do it! also the more fresh water rich food you eat the better your mind will work. the mind cannot run on paste or things in boxes bags or cans. the mind cannot run on that junk. try fresh food for awhile. fresh fruit and fresh veg. lots of leaves. you will be surprised how much better your body runs on this type of fuel. think about how you feel each time after you eat and pay attention to what you eat. find the food that works best for you. do not deny it till you try it. may you have much success!
I get the feeling looking at the video that you seem to not be popping off the ramp enough... Whenever I shoot bmxers that can flair they warm up landing pretty far down the quarter, but in your clips I was really concerned about your head clipping the wall behind! Also have you tried doing a straight back flip sideways into a foam pit? Maybe removing the cork at first and learning it in two stages of movement will help get over whats probably just being caused by hyper analysis right before take off. Also, in trombone playing stigmas about playing loud or high or both are always the majority of the reason we have trouble getting better at that until we find our own ways of training out the thought "thats a high note" to the point that we eventually only say "thats a note." Once the personal fears are broken and it becomes as instinctive as all the other notes, most players find that they skyrocket in progression and ability.
YO ALI YOU GOT HEART BRO JUST KEEP TRYING..YOUR VIDEOS HELP ME OUT SO MUCH I WATCH AND PAY ATTENTION BRO YOUR WAY AWESOMER THAN YOU THINK AND YOU GET TO RIDE WITH DANNY YOU ROCK ALI CHEERS BROTHA😎😎
Mate, you taught Sam Pilgrim how to get up that tree stump... Seems to me that he owes you... And... He can flair off anything.. Methinks you need a vlog where Sam teaches you things you can't do, and vice versa! :D
Awesome Vlog Ali :) I look and look again, and rewind and laugh as crazy... You guys are EPIC! I'm so envy you (in a good way) ;) Keep practice Ali, I believe in you and you can make it... Have a nice day mate, cheers! :)
hi ali just a thought. if your not feeling the flare rotation, try it on a trampoline first(without the bike), then get comfy with that, next is to add the bike on trampoline, get used to the rotation. then try it on the foam pit. just thinking how braille would break this down in easy to manage bits. loving the vids man, keep em coming.
just bait him with the big old "Daniels Macaskil" and the British trial champions "Mr. Ali Clarkson" and "Mr. Dudududuuuuncaaan Shaw" :P pretty sure he can't resist those.
Next time Ali. Defiantly got them. You should take your BMX and give them a go aswell. Might be easier to learn the rotation on a smaller bike. Awesome!
Ali Clarkson fair enough, also now you've said that, you should defiantly get one of those mini bmx's. It would be hilarious seeing you riding one, maybe get some trials stuff on it too!
today was a horrible day for me.. I kept crashing and eating it.. I kept at it until i bailed a 360 wrong and almost broke my leg at the knee. I have an injured knee now.(luckily i got got away with just a bad sprain). Felt discouraged and kinda thought about quitting these stunty stuff. this video makes me wanna go out and ride like i mean it.. Thanks Ali . If it wasn't for this I would have missed the fun stuff.. Ill be back on my bike after my knee recovers .. Any tips on how to heal it properly will be greatly appreciate it.
Did Danny just learn a "new" trick in six attempts? Or did you edit some out? That's crazy though. That really seems to be a difficult trick, I remember seeing Fabio struggle with it as well. More practice Ali, you had it so close already, you can do it! Awesome video as usual. Keep 'em coming!
Hi, do you have some tips on bike setup, i ride a 27.5+ trail hardtail, i know its not the best for trials, but i want to do some little drops and other things, its tubeless, how much psi, locked or unlocked suspension fork??? Please give me some tis
I can't flair but it seems like you don't look over your shoulder and looks like you just spin. I think if you concentrate more on the backflip and less on the spin maybe the spin will come naturally. If you look at the one you did at 18:35 you was going for it but then it seemed like you just started looking left instead and sent a 540 lol Also the one at 21:05 you sent a 360 flair instead haha. So I think your problem is spinning too much. Try it into the foam abit more?
Ali i think What you need to do is pop of the coping more on your flairs and commit... If you get some air it Will be esaier to get Them around. Maybe meet up with a BMX youtuber like Harry Main?
Hey Ali I've got a question concerning your 180 Hop Video. Because my left foot is in front but I for me its more naturally to spin left? Is that important? Maybe you can answer! Cheers! THX!!

It's great to see two of the best riders in the world pushing their boundaries and taking advice from each other.
Just goes hat this level of skill doesn't come so much from "natural talent" as it does from relentless hard work and dedication with enormous levels of patience and stamina. really inspiring watching you both work through the tricks. Great vid
Really enjoyed watching this one Ali. Awesome video
Like this one. Keep trying flair Ali ! You will have it !
Love to see both of you ride together and progressing through the tricks!! Very entertaining!!

Awesome to see even the most skilful of riders still get so stoked to land a trick.
I really like this video, as it shows the process of learning new skills; thanks a lot for showing a glimpse into the hard work and practice that goes into the mastery.
Absolutely brilliant. The highs and lows of learning. Love it.
Amazing riding, the way you guys learn stuff so quick is amazing while I struggle learning manuals , back hops and everything in general on a trials bike ( inbetween being sick and rainy days )
You guys are awesome huge inspiration 😎✊

Sweet vlog Ali! I really feel Danny could do the barrel flip to wall ride lol! Can't wait for the next vlog!
Yo!! Man Danny is legend. Keep the vlogs coming. The guys in y’alls group have good chemistry and seem to challenge each other!
Danny is hilarious, and totally practical for a daredevil!
Love this Video. One of my favourites

Great stuff! You guys always seem to have so much fun on your bikes that it makes me wanna go out for a ride! Thanks for that!
Looks like a lot of fun!
great inside view of how you develop skills. Thanks for sharing!
More front flip to face plant right into the wall.. lol y'all got it🤙🏼🤙🏼
Me and my mates used to go up to unit 23 on the train every weekend when we were into bmx about 15-17 loved that place

Have the two of you ever ridden with harry main before? I would dig that. Also get together doing street trials with chris akrigg
YO ALI YOU GOT HEART BRO JUST KEEP TRYING..YOUR VIDEOS HELP ME OUT SO MUCH I WATCH AND PAY ATTENTION BRO YOUR WAY AWESOMER THAN YOU THINK AND YOU GET TO RIDE WITH DANNY YOU ROCK ALI CHEERS BROTHA😎😎
I would still absolutely love to have a facility like this near me, I would absolutely love to try some of these tricks!
this was amazing! high level entertainment
so awesome.. Thanks for being awesome!
Enjoy watching this a LOT!) Thanks!!!
The grandmasters @ work!
Awesome vid Ali! I've got the same sort of problems with flairs myself, just can't seem to get it... even though people say they're easy!
End of october I am in Scotland I hope that I can meet you because I am a very big Fan!
Some inspiration just before the weekend!
You guys are great riders!!!
Mate, you taught Sam Pilgrim how to get up that tree stump... Seems to me that he owes you... And... He can flair off anything.. Methinks you need a vlog where Sam teaches you things you can't do, and vice versa! :D
Exactly
Seconded!
agree
I wasn't aware there was anything Danny couldn't do!
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy ali uploaded yaaaaaaaaaay 🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🎂🎂🎂🎂
Awesome Vlog Ali :) I look and look again, and rewind and laugh as crazy... You guys are EPIC! I'm so envy you (in a good way) ;) Keep practice Ali, I believe in you and you can make it... Have a nice day mate, cheers! :)
...Props from Xcross the Pond... New Jersey Approves....
Really great video Ali and Danny
9:49 just like in elastomania, an old pc game !
My thought exactly!
nice vlog, mate. keep on trying the flair
When you got super skills but then you decided to go on a Jog with Superman
hi ali just a thought.

cheers for the replay mate,
good to hear, as this vid states, "progression" :)
That barrel roll looks awesome!!!!
EPIC SQUARED Thank You
this makes me want to get a jump bikeand hit some foam pits! it looks so much fun! nice work ali!
Never mate! Had a go on an air bes once but that was a bit of a hard landing!
Great Video! its pretty funny if you watch it on half-speed...its the whole time like-'hold my beer...' :D
I think we need Bigboy to come over and teach you guys how to flair :P
It’s such a scary trick though.
just bait him with the big old "Daniels Macaskil" and the British trial champions "Mr. Ali Clarkson" and "Mr. Dudududuuuuncaaan Shaw" :P pretty sure he can't resist those.
You should send some of these clips to GMBN for The Dirt Shed Show.
Of course you can't do a flare! You're shaved! You absolutely need a Danny Macaskill style half-beard to be good in these things.
Yan Doroshenko needs a chin strap to keep his hair on when he's wrong side down.
Amazing vlog Ali ! But why you didn't try barspin or tailwhip on the foam pit ?
That’s really cool that u live with Danny
Do u film for him?
today was a horrible day for me.. I kept crashing and eating it.. I kept at it until i bailed a 360 wrong and almost broke my leg at the knee. WoW nice Vlog!!
Wish to ride there one day.

cool video!
You set your bar too high Ali, Danny isn't really mortal. Awesome!!
Ali i think What you need to do is pop of the coping more on your flairs and commit... If you get some air it Will be esaier to get Them around. Maybe meet up with a BMX youtuber like Harry Main?
I'd like to see you hop your way up the stairs on that ramp
More slo mo in the vids pleas Ali. Give us mortals the chance to work out what's going on.
Can you make a video how to Rear wheelhops
Next Edit Danny is gonna flair his Santa Cruz 😂
Ali you invite Sam Pilgrim to join you guys. That would Awsome. Would love to see you Danny and Sam. Sam is the king of Flares.
Hey Ali
I've got a question concerning your 180 Hop Video.
Because my left foot is in front but I for me its more naturally to spin left? Is that important?
Maybe you can answer!
Cheers!
THX!!
Tanks for your quick answer!
DANNY DOESN'T HAVE HAIR , HE HAS HELMUT !
Always blows my mind that experienced riders don't know certain tricks.
This vlog needed some slow-mo! But nice work!
When is Danny's next proper vision 😂😂
Is Danny on 26 wheels or are the tires just fatter?
I wonder where Danny's got the name from ..^^
yeah
You live with Danny?!
Ali Clarkson oh I knew u all lived in Glasgow but do u literally live in the same flat?
Ali Clarkson well what a quick way of becoming Scotish
You should get harry main to help
Always wondered why bmx bikes have such loud hubs but only high end mtb hubs have that zzzzzzzz.
You guys were all doing cork 540s, not flairs IMO.
Ali Clarkson Yeah I mean look at me, all the flairs I've tried I have landed square on my butt with shredded elbows. Oh what I'd do for a resi ramp...
Just aim for a backflip bro, the carve gives you the rotation
i really want to see a backflip to wallride, now :)
Makes me tired just watching you guys struggle out of the foam pit.
Why wear a helmet if you're not going to buckle the strap around your chin?
Guys, Gopro are sponsoring you. Put actioncam somewhere and insert timelaps to vlog. Video will be more dynamic. ( sorry for my english )
