As a person who has been doing parkour for the past year or so, I know how mike felt doing the precision jump. And the irritating thing is if you don't commit it annoys you and makes you feel bad. Great job mike👍👍👍👍
I’ve been doing parkour for 8 years and I can confirm that very often, I’ll get scared by a precision. Maybe not ones like Mike’s, but some precisions are always scary even after all this time so hats off to Mike for committing!
You are the person who made me believe in myself and made me realize that nothing is impossible the more you are praised, the less it is. A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR YOU MAN!!!
Your sheer willpower and determination to keep trying on those skills that give you mental blocks is incredible. It's much more difficult than most people will realize, including me. We see you begin trying, struggle, then overcome your fear and get it, all in a small amount of time in the video. Incredible work Mike, you are an inspiration to overcome our fears.
As someone who has been doing parkour for over 8 years, wall flips are very impressive for someone with very little experience like this. Goes to show that Mike can do anything he puts his mind to, and anyone else can too if you work hard. I had a coach spotting me when I learned wallflips so it’s definitely impressive he did it himself!
The skateboard drop is actually a lot scarier than it looks. Failed it once, years ago, and haven't had the confidence to try it again. Maybe we both get it someday!
Bro i had the same thing happen to me but when someone helped me i did it abd it felt super good / most times commitment is the thing your lacking you really just need to lean forward
Just practice on smaller ramps and build it up slowly. Even though what this guy did is truly inspiring, its also a very bad way to go about certain things. He was practicing backflips on the ground without the right technique/experience. He went straight into a dropin almost destroying his back
I love how you never give up when you learn new things, I watched the vid when you were learning how to use nunchucks and that made me want to learn them, now I’m really good at it, love ur vids Mike
Mike, you're the best inspiration on the internet that I've seen because you show us that failure is part of progress. Happy birthday! Hopefully your back is fine :) Let's go, yes go!
i think quality over quantity. the old videos where it was just one skill but showing how you prepared for it and all the sub levels for that skill were better. now I think that difficulty is less you get it on the first attempt. great video as always. happy birthday!
The backflip block is a very real thing. I used to make backflips in elementary school until I hit my head at the pool ("Auerbach" from 5m, not jumping far enough from the platform hitting my head on the edge..., had to be stitched and stay for two days in the hospital). After that it was a no go for years. Only the one armed flip on the floor, later the back handspring and then watching my friends getting the backflip done helped me getting over this block literally in one day. Ever since then, it's no problem anymore, be it a wallflip, backflip or auerbach.
Happy birthday Mike, just found you this year but you've inspired me a lot to face my fears.(trying to learn how to use those kangaroo stilts you used) I'm getting them this year eventually.
Happy Birthday Mike !! Hope you have a great day, make sure to be careful when doing your videos and don't rush yourself with uploading ofc !! Enjoy your day

The first video I watched from you was the balisong tricks, It was difficult as a beginner, I hurt my fingers and even chipped the paint off my table haha, but your videos fueled me to be greater and eventually I learned and did the tricks effortlessly! It's so motivating, you motivate me, thank you so much.
Happy birthday and congrats on not just facing but also nailing these dangerous stunts. Also keep pushing, your gonna get the drop in!!! Ps. It always amazed me how these cameras cut out the stick there on like how!?
Vamooooos, vuelve al skate!! Esa rampa tiene tu nombre.. Espero una revancha con esa rampa.. Solo debes poner tu peso en el pie delantero y listo, no caerás hacia atrás!
great video and happy birthday! I really find your videos inspirational. It's so cool how you keep on going no matter what. It's crazy how you can keep on going and I really feel like it shows that the only thing stopping you from completing what you want to do, is your own mindset and comitment!
Thanks a lot, Mike. You taught me to never give up. Only 1 complaint though. Don't try something, Get it right once, and consider it a learnt skill. Try it time and time again to make sure you get it right consistently. Other wise, great work. YESGO Mike!
Sad I missed this video on day one. Got the notification but haven’t had time to check it out until now. Hope you somehow still see this, but your videos opened a new world for me, Mike. Yesgo will always have originated from you, but it is something I’ve started saying so often, it’s like a catch phrase 🤣 Down the line, when I inevitably say it a lot in my videos, whether my gorilla tag ones or parkour or hopefully someday when I get the chance to document my love for learning(similar to your channel but not the same). You are truly a great inspiration, my dude. Cheers!
Your a brave man, most people call others brave when they do crazy things that others are afraid to do. But thats not being brave, its conquering something you feared to think of.
That is one thing I’m sooooo glad I learned to do; Drop in on a ramp. It’s something you have to commit to %100, or you WILL mess up. I’m so thankful I came across your channel, I always get inspired

Genuinely crazy, you motivate people to higher and higher heights the more videos of yours that they watch. You should try to learn how to click 40 times in one second its a really cool skill.
The issue with dropping in on ramps on a skateboard or agressive skates is that you have to commit 100% and not waver a bit ,it has to be done like youve done it 100 times before, if u do waver and not commit u re done. Also lean forward alot haha

the guy that holded your hands actually curbed you because of that. during a drop in it is important to keep your weight directed forward. By holding your hands and standing fairly stationary from where you drop in, you are actually prone to lean backwards while dropping in. imo holding hands is the worst unless you imeadiatly let go when someone shifts his/her weight.
Drop in: the only way for it to work is to move your whole body weight forward, at the very beginning! That is crucial. If you think you can move your body weight later you will be already laying on your back, hurt. My advice is forget the rear leg (you can even detach it from the skateboard - the gravity will pull it to the grip anyway! Just forget this leg!) and focus all your weight forward. You will be amazed how easy it was to make a safe drop in. Of course you have to have an experience with riding on a skateboard, to keep your balance to not fall after successful drop in. It doesn't make sense to do it without right balance. You do it once and you will do it right every next time. However I don't think drop in looks as cool as you think.
the consistent concept of "forward" for ALL these skills is crazy. everything is about forwards, jump forward, lean forward, just lean into the movement with your entire being, if you hesitate, lean back, do anything other then full throttle, you fail
As a person who does parkour I can say that that jump was pretty good, it failed a little on the landing but that is the most difficult part and even for a professional it is difficult to make a perfect precision jump

I just wanted to say thank you because after you first skill video you helped me stop laying around and learn skills and your now just a huge inspiration to me.😊
5:23, what you need to do is actually jump, and instead of leaping and falling backwards, you need to just, grab on to anything, and climb. that is how you master that skill. that is how you climb a building with no gear.
