@@jadenoelle2996 education here (in secondary school) is based more on the lexical side, so we have to learn tons of stuff just from our books by-heart, we dont really have to do projects, research work, presentation, maybe like once in a year. In a lot of secondary schools here people dont have lunch breaks, the typical is 15-minute breaks in between every lesson, and no other type of break. Watching films are rare occasions for us, we watch one sometimes before Christmas time, usually at english class, to practice our skills. Sometimes we watch short clips, but its just because the teacher wants to represent the topic, e.g. real clips from the WW2. An other thing is that here, making a community is not as important as there is. There are possibilites of course for joining like a football team in school, but its not that popular. I feel like in the US "its a must" to choose a team, or group to belong to. So If you finish school, its more likely that you wont have some school programme after your lessons. You just go home and study. P.E education is not so effective. Since it became obligatory for secondary school students to have 5 lessons per week, students dont have a place to have P.E. For just on lesson, in one "gym hall", there are approximately 3 or 4 classes, and they simply just dont fit in the hall. There were several occasions for us when we had to be on the hallway, playing ping pong....or outside, when the weather was ok. Also we dont have homecoming, but for those students who are in their last year, they have a ceremony, where each of them receive a ribbon on their blaser. It represents that they are the ones who will leave the school soon, and they have to wear it on their coat every day until the last one. After the "ribbon ceremony", at the same evening, they have to dance the waltz in wedding dresses and they have to represent a "class-dance", which is coreographed by the students. These are just a few things that came in my mind. I think in general education is more strict here, concerning the teachers and the whole system.
i love how she’s real to herself and just talks about everything in general. it’s really relaxing and like i know she tries to be positive which i love the most. 🤧❤️
