Just finished the movie. Yes the entirety of the plot is in this trailer. There is absolutely no character development aside from the main character so you have ZERO emotional attachment to anyone. The writing is incredibly lazy and the story is unoriginal. It's a good "Netflix and chill" movie cause you definitely don't have to pay attention to this in order to know what's going on. That's about as good as it gets.
Very harsh I feel......I actually really enjoyed it.....it's a lot better than that "Atomic Blonde" garbage that tried to imitate John Wick and failed miserably! AVA is played brilliantly as always by the beautiful Jessica Chastain and her character is extremely well developed and I felt her pain and was rooting for her all the way! It's only 90mins so you can't establish multiple characters in such a short time frame but they set up the story and exposition in a very clever way that it flows with the action very well and the ending leaves it wide open for sequel which I must say I HOPE they do! Too many shitty superhero films so it's refreshing to get a clever action flick with a strong leading lady!

Never watched the trailer. Happened upon the film by accident. Loved this character. Mesmerizing. The blend of aggression and vulnerabilty. The juxtaposition of emotional anguish and robotic duty. Never knew who Chastain was. She's as real as rain and drew me in from start to finish.
Too bad it shows her unrealistically fighting men..... Women have a different set of strengths, physical not being one of them. Wish movies focused more on that. It'd make for more realistic movies.
