We know in season 1 eleven was able to manipulate organs since she was able to squeeze the bully’s bladder when they were at the school. So basically eleven just pumped maxes heart so her body is alive but vecna stole her consciousness. I think the whole plot of s5 is gonna be trying to get her consciousness back while also killing vecna

We shall see. I’m still on the fence about how I feel in regards to that scene, but I’ll reserve my final thoughts until we know Max’s purpose next season.
