You should put up "winter decor"! I get sad when the Christmas comes down and the house looks so bare or putting back up things with flowers and bright colors which doesn't fit the season. So I decorate with rustic branches, pinecones, and greys and whites and its super cozy!

I've never liked the idea of New Year's Resolutions; nor have I ever kept any. However I do get the idea that you suggested of making definite numerically-specified goals: doing it that way makes success and achievement more likely. Personally I use the One Calendar app on my desktop machine and find scrapbooks cumbersome. - However the idea of scrapbooks goes way back before even my birth, and is very traditional.
