These guys are teaching the principal's and tactics for the common man/woman to put meat in their freezer and enjoy doing it. They are earning their meals and in this case providing for countless ones to others. These aren't participation trophies. Go back to your cable tv hunting shows if you don't like what you see Vegas. Dude Gooch's pure and genuine excitement is probably one of the best things ever man. EVERY time he is just as excited as a youngin with their first harvest and it's awesome to see.

Gooch is a riot to watch. Both him and I get the leg shakes when deer come in, no matter the size or gender of the deer. Pure excitement
I LOVE how this group of guys support one another. All his friends are just as pumped, if not more, than he is about that buck.
This show does a great job of covering what hunting is REALLY all about. It's all the planning, thinking, scouting commrodery, and just plain enjoying nature. It's NOT ALL about the size of the rack.

I went to the Lindner Brothers (Angling Edge/In-Fisherman) seminar in 2018 because I wanted to explore make a living fishing. I remember Al Lindner saying:
"I hear people say 'I wish I could make a living fishing like you do' and I always tell them, 'If that job ever comes up, I want it.' "
The truth is, it's not a job, it's an entrepreneurial venture and you're not guaranteed anything. You have to make quality content and do the marketing, merchandising, editing and do the hunting/fishing that makes your content valuable. That can be quite the undertaking.
It's worth doing, but it's a crap-ton of work.
I wouldn't rule it out myself, but I enjoy hunting and fishing when and where I want without all the extra work of trying to monetize it. You can monetize it, anybody can, but it's certainly not easy.
What a life that would be
One of the best things about watching you guys is how much you just love to hunt. Even after all the deer you kill during the year you still get excited like little kids in a candy shop when you finally recover the deer.
Gooch’s reactions are authentic and awesome to watch. He is a good addition to your cast, hope he stays awhile.

My late years of hunting were the best , taking my Nephews , my two Sons , and then my Grandson ...was so much more exciting to me then when I was regularly filling my tags . Watching the thrill and down right elation ag successfully using what they have learned to harvest the bounty GOD has blessed us with here in the good ole US of A.!!

I remember the pure excitement to be successful in the woods even with just shooting a spike or a 6 pointer! Thats what brings people into hunting and Rut Daniels would be proud to have those loins for the grill!
