Nice video! 👍 I think David Lloyd George is my favorite Fairlie locomotive. I love that whistle! @10:18

So I take it that the steam manifold has 2 valves for the atomizers 2 valves for the blowers and a valve for the air in during steam up. what is the valve at a 45 degree angle to the front of it. Is it a master feed valve for steam to the manifold. Also out of curiosity is control of both injectors on the fireman's side or is it split between the two sides of the boiler. I noticed that there was a water glass on both sides of the boiler. I'm also interested to know were both of the injector steam valves and feed valves are located and where both of the oil feeds would have been located. Thank's..

Nice video. That injector must be huge, they need a smaller one so it can stay on longer and a big one for rapid fills. Was it oil fired back then?

+simonwass Yes it was indeed oil fired. I did not notice that the injector was huge and if I understand correctly the rate of filling is adjusted by the amount of steam put into the injector which is adjusted by how far the injector valve is opened.
