    Just learned something new .... "Giving a title to an image"... No wonder my renders are lifeless and too generic looking .. Love the Hero image btw ❤️.

    • @ShowItBetter
      @ShowItBetter  Год назад +3

      yesss Yazzer! This is so underrated! It seems pretty dumb, but it makes you focus more on the image and what you imagine it could be! You can compare it to giving a title to an art piece. Some of the images by MIR have great descriptions and titles that make you understand the thought process behind the image.

      Thanks for the comment!Yeah, it's crazy how far Lumion has gotten over the years. If it had more color correction options, like LUTs and color grading, it probably wouldn't even need photoshop!

    This was really useful to break from the typical "Lumiony" render, Getting a render out has become easy but making it Unique and lifelike is still a bit tricky. Would enjoy more Videos in this series to get quick renders but still lifelike.

      That's right! That will differentiate the arch viz studios from the person that just hits the render button. Same as anyone with an iPhone to a pro photographer. Creativity, uniqueness, and emotionality are harder to grab than technical aspects

    You make the best-looking Lumion renders in the business.
    They don't make a very good photo-realistic render, but you give them what may be an even better artistic look.
    Wonder if they will partner up with you.......your post improves their look 10x. Need to help them with a SIB plugin.

    • @ShowItBetter
      @ShowItBetter  Год назад +1

      thanks, Greg! Although I have to be honest, I know a lot of artists that work entirely with Lumion and make these images look like a joke, haha. Also, I don't know if it wasn't clear in the video, but at 11:41 I mention that this is a sponsored video that we did in partnership with Lumion. And I guess the SIB plugin would render out cool exterior renders but shitty interior ones, just like me haha

    How can I create something like this if my computer starts acting crazy everytime I try using lumion.

  • @sleeth11
    @sleeth11 Год назад

    The problem is once we all agree that a certain subconscious mix of elements generally creates a certain emotion, a computer can easily filter and optimize for it - the same way googling “cozy home” will always show fireplace pictures

    • @ShowItBetter
      @ShowItBetter  Год назад

      Of course! I understand your concern. It's true that a computer can be programmed to optimize for certain emotional responses based on specific elements. However, it's important to remember that emotion and design are not always straightforward. A design can have all the "right" elements, but still not evoke the desired emotional response.
      In addition, as designers, we have the ability to create something truly unique and personal for our clients. We can incorporate their individual style, preferences, and story into the design, making it more than just a collection of elements optimized for a certain emotional response. So, while there may be certain "tried and true" design elements, there's still room for creativity and personalization in design.

    How many hours did it take you from scratch to the final model with the whole environment in total? And how many hours did texturing and render preparation took you? Obviously you are very skilled so probably I'll have to multiple by 100 to imagine the amount of time that i would need.

    • @ShowItBetter
      @ShowItBetter  Год назад +1

      the creation of the model and whole environment, probably took around three days. Since I didn't know from the beginning what points of view I was going to work with, I was prepared to create different angles so I had to populate everything. Plus the model is probably going to work for more tutorials.
