TRAVEL DIARIES: Valentin Perla Blanca - Cayo Santa Maria - Cuba | February 2020

I have so much footage from our Cuba trip that I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to put together a vlog now that we're all stuck at home.

The last two days mainly consisted of lounging by the pool & beach so I didn't get as many pictures or videos compared to the days where we went on excursions.
We stayed at Hotel Valentin Perla Blanca from February 2nd to February 9th and everything about our trip could not have gone as planned. To start, we nearly missed our flight because we wanted to enjoy the premium lounge at the airport. Everything just merely worked out in our favour and we barely made it on the flight. Phew.
The hotel was exceptionally clean, service was okay but the beaches were the highlight of the trip. We did not set high expectations for the food and to our surprise, food was not bad. The dishes at the snack bar, a la cartes and amazing coffee drinks in the lobby were much better than the food served in the buffet. Don't get me wrong, the buffet food was not bad but started getting repetitive throughout the week.
