Oh my word what's not to love about Placencia. It's nice you enjoyed a little slice of my old country 😊 Escabeche is a traditionally north of Belize recipe where I'm from. Cheers !

Those crab claws look amazing! We love when seafood has some spice to it, and those look super delicious! 🦀 Belize seems like a really cool country to visit, we haven't explored much of Central America, but it looks amazing! Love the commentary too guys. On a side note, we've never heard of Inspirado Pass before, sounds like you'll probably. have more cool trips on the horizon. Years ago my Gurkah Security officer gave me his Gurkah hat to remember him as we parted, a short time later he died in Africa of Malaria. One day at a sidewalk sale in Placencia I saw a handle under a bunch of stuff at sale tent, it was a Nepal, Gurkah knife a KUKURI, I asked was it for sale and yes it was. BOUGHT IT for a $100 U. S. display it with the hat,am sure YAM RHY approves. Thanks Placencia you are an Amazing place.

That’s a beautiful story. Everything seems to come full circle and the little things remind us of the big things. It sounds like you have a lot of great memories. So happy you have something to remember your Gurkha friend.
I had to look up what Gurkah was and now I’m in awe. It sounds like such an honorable title.
