Haaris! Thank you for your comment/gratitude! Yes, Alesha is an amazing person and precious student of mine! Wishing you all the best on all of your AP scores this year! Remember, you are more than an AP score! This is one test of many in your life and you have many more chances ahead! So reflect, grow and continue to enjoy learning different subjects! 😁👍
Thank you so much Mr. Chow. Because of this, I might actually pass my FRQ Final tomorrow and possibly score decently high on the AP test 👍Amazing video and nice job breaking down the problems and explanations! really easy to follow along overall
Is there any reason why the answer to 4a could not mention geographic isolation instead of habitat isolation? The glaciation event could have been interpreted as a geographic barrier that caused allopatric speciation and reproductive isolation. If so, what differentiates this scenario so it would be identified as habitat isolation rather than geographic isolation?
Hello Crocketmeow, thanks for your question. I see where you’re coming from but I don’t think that answer would be accepted because the question asked for a prezygotic barrier (one of the 5 in biology). Though I can see where you’re coming from, from what I understand, geographic isolation though similar is more of an overall form of reproductive isolation that isn’t specific enough to answer this question. If you have any more questions, let me know 👍
Thank you for the video. This video helped me a lot understanding the questions. I admire how you solved the problems and made presentation by yourself, taking that much effort and time for students on internet, for FREE. I appreciate so much. 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲
Thx for the review mr Chow! Took AP bio back in Georgia. Your one smart student alesha sent me this. Super helpful, thx again!!
