WARNING: THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL ALBUM, this is a selection / extrapolation of unreleased guitar solos. I made the selection/extrapolation of guitar solos, equalisation, stereo balance, adjustment levels, "snippets" (segues) between the solos in the FZ' manner, and many other minor actions to correct any defects (as far as possible).
This is from my own private collection. I assembled it for my personal listening and I share it for CULTURAL and EDUCATIONAL purposes to promote the artist (Frank Zappa). I do not own the rights to this material, I use it only for promotional-cultural use.
(If you find something here - pic, video or music - that you believe shouldn’t be here, please let me know and I will remove it).

In my library, my CDs "Guitars And Snippets" & "Guitars And Snippets Some More" are not the same as the ones I posted 5 years ago.
Recently, I changed them because it seemed to me that they had some areas for improvement. So I made small and big changes, by replacing some solos, e by improving the sound quality here and there.
Maybe someone would like to hear them.

Thank you once again br1tag for a fantastic compilation! You ought to be nominated Vaultmeister to produce a complete new series of Guitar Albums 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
ditto
this is great !
i just found this 2 days ago, i cant stop listenin to'em
habit forming
thank you !
Improvisational rock lead guitar playing at its best! FZ always took chances and never played the same solo twice which is why his live recordings are necessary. Always fun with new phrasing and licks to discover!!! THANKS FOR THE UPLOAD
I’m sure I speak for many when I say..Thanks for sharing! 🙌🏻 🥸
What joy, two in one day! Br1tag you make me smile.
And two Conehead versions how wonderful! One of my favorite FZ songs so typical of his style; lyrically, a fun, silly song then you get to the guitar solo and are blown away. At least I am, every time I listen to it.
... un solista ineguagliabile, irraggiungibile.....
Grazie. Salute.
Trippin to Frank on a fabulous Monday babies. Rock your little brains out.
To get Frank's sound on my guitar : I use "wah wah + a bit of delay & overdrive
Always, always fabulous!
Thanks! Great edit on the last BN!
I can't believe this got a single thumbs down. All your playlists are gold.
I always like it when there are little pig snorts between numbers as in 22:08.
Thanks again Mr. BR1. You always make my day..
FRANK ZAPPA IS THE BEST!!
If you live in the city surrounded by 60 to 80 people don't burn s*** it stinks and we don't like it
Klasse Zusammenstellung.
Eres un extraordinario embajador de Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention. Muchas gracias
@diego astigarraga - Grazie Diego!
Thanks! I love it. Frank is the BEST
He is.
Ahh yes back to Osaka...that effect he gets in Advance Romance ...is that the “Alien intestinal foot squashing pedal” 😉... great stuff...thanks!
Pccatcc
Thank you Mr. Tag, for sharing these obscurities from a legend. You are a gentleman.
Tu nous surprendra toujours merci BR
Having a lazy Sunday afternoon, thoroughly enjoying this! Cheers Br1 💕✌😎
What A Great Mix TY
Bravo, brava.
Out of this world.

MERRY XMAS
god .. this has got some real gems on it .. only fifteen minutes in..
Du machst mich fertig, danke vielmals. (You're killing me, thank you very much)
I swear, I'm just having way too much fun!
And don't tell me you're from Cleveland!
composer zappa deserves a monument,
like beethoven, schubert and chopin.
I think he has one in Baltimore if the crazy left hasn't torn it down.
I think there is one in Germany or the Czeck Republic. Also a road named FrankZappaStrasse in Germany. Düsseldorf, perhaps ? Memory is foggy....
🚬😎
Always fresh and authentic...👂👍🎅🐋
Wowza, 2 in a week, totes amazing, goosebumps and love 💕 wowza
Thank you again & the players & of course FZ & UMRK. Black Napkins.
Yes 2 in a day thanks
Gracias
Thanks
That transition into Advance Romance was great !!
Drums there sound like Terry Bozzio, in that section. I'm thinking the rest of the band was Roy Estrada ,André Lewis & Napoleon (although he doesn't play in that part- right before Ship Ahoy...)
Great collection, chief !!
🚬😎
As always astounding 😱🤔
FZ is my 2nd favorite guitarist. But when I hear great collections like this ? It starts me into thinkin' that he just might, MIGHT, be better than Steve Howe !! Maybe....
🚬😎
Hello. Thank you so much for all of the great compilations. It will take me a long time to listen to them all, but I'm very grateful that they are here. I was wondering if you could do something for me. I have the original disc version of Lather with the 4 bonus tracks, but the album, and particularly the bonus tracks are nowhere to be found on youtube, amazon, or anywhere else I've seen. Short of going through a pile of cds I havent looked at in about ten years that are very disorganized, I don't have access to these tracks. Could you please put up the album or at the very least the bonus tracks? I would be so incredibly grateful. I'm not sure why they were cut from the re-issue, but that was a poor decision in my opinion. Please and thank you very much. I'm sure many a fan would be very thankful.
@Nicolas Marino - Pink Napkins as a song does not really exist, it is a variation, a solo from Black Napkins
@@br1tag Yes, I know, tou are right, but it's a beautiful melody (one more). Dweezil play this performance www.dweezilzappa.com/songs/1964454-sleep-napkins-copy
@@NicolasMarinoDiTeana - However you are right, Pink Napkins, whatever it is, it would have been great if FZ had used it and explored it more in live concert.
Merci c'est déjà Noël
Love Zappa! :)
💿💿💿💿
Is there a credit missing between the second Conehead and Outside Now? Doesn't sound like it's from the same concert in 1979, and if it is it doesn't really sound like an extension to that Conehead solo, would be interested to know where it came from as the dual-guitar thing at the beginning is quite rare for an FZ concert!
@LateNight JazzBartok - There are no additions from other concerts. The entire solo of Conehead London 79 comes from the same concert. There are actually cuts, but no additions.
This version is the one present (entitled Five Five Five) in the acetate of the pre-series Shut Up.
Subsequently FZ further shortened Five Five Five for the final version.
Imagine Zappa alive: what would his music sound like today? ♡♡♡🌻
such an interesting question...would love it to be answered!! You did a great job br1tag... go on with it!!! PLEASE!!!
I hear 5-5-5 in conehead solo- Yes!
