I worked here and I have to say I was a great experience. I really liked it! From my experience they seem to really care about the employees and the product. Very clean plant! Only quit because I had to move back to California.
I just got home from 4H today. I sold my 4H market steer for $2.75 a pound and got the buyback. I won champion intermediate show on and second in class with my steer. #54 from crook county. His name is jack. Please take care of him and be humane he was my best friend.
That's a pretty cynical take. What part don't you believe? He's worked from the entry level positions in the plant to eventually being a leader and key decision maker, that isn't a made up story, that's a real person's life. He's the kind of person most people hope is working in this sensitive part of the food system. He has a huge amount of experience and respect for animal, employee, and product safety. Jesse is the man. Public speaking/speaking on camera might not be his strength, but that's about the least of his responsibilities. Which is fine, because he has way more important things to do. Sorry/not sorry for the staunch, lengthy response, but we know him, and see him in action and he's an honest man, doing an honestly great job, so people can eat safe, high quality beef.

I don't know how I got to this video but looks like Jesse was lying about everything he was saying, his entire demeanor gave him away.
