Watching your video makes me dream of becoming an equestrian even more. I can’t imagine the thrill and freedom of riding a horse, feeling the wind and the connection with such a majestic animal. It’s been my dream for so long, and seeing your journey is truly inspiring. Keep sharing your experiences - they mean so much to those of us who aspire to be in your shoes!
I love your dad. He's awesome and brings memories of mine. Love that you show owning horses, while fun and rewarding, is work. Thanks for allowing us to watch this snippet in your life. Great job, Holly.
I was thinking to myself, "At least she doesn't have to study anymore!" How wrong was I? I should have known you would be continuing to grow as a vet as well as a rider. I knew you were a very hard worker, but you put in some long days at the barn! Hopefully we can see Chief at work at some point!!
Holly your dad's so much fun, the WAY he jumped in the puddle .And all the help you get from your dad ,IT's surprising HOW hard an equestrian has to WORK. That's SUCH an amazing place to live ,AND such amassing country side. TAKE care and all the best. Xx😊😊😄💟💖🐶🐓
So many delightful moments -- except for all that awful mud -- having not had horses for a long while now, I had forgotten the delights of spring with horses. Yuck :) Your dad, your sweet, sweet dogs and chickens are all so cute. That was a very full and physical day -- especially moving that huge and heavy hay bale. Rain, hale, sun, rain, and repeat. I think all of us animals are happy to do our chores, as long as we can go from meal to chores to next meal. well done on training the boys to come in on their own. They know their food is ready and waiting for them, so while they play around a little bit, you can pretty much count on getting them to the stalls in the end. Chief is a very pretty boy -- I am partial to black horses too. Thank you for sharing your beautiful, greening up world with us :)
I bet you can’t wait for the dry weather Holly you and your Dad are great fun and very hard working. Your place is very nice love how you can look out of the window and see your beautiful babies tfs🏇🤗🏇
Great video, Holly. You keep super busy. Your dad's an impressive chef and your lunchtime meal is gorgeous too. Halloumi is one of our staples! Chief is also beautiful.
I watched your lesson last night and this today. Dali was wiggly in the lesson on the left rein, too. He's such a big boy. That body requires so much strength to stay straight. 💪💪💪he's come so far!
I just came back from wading through a muddy paddock. Thought I might be going for a swim. We also had a white-out snowstorm Wednesday night just to keep driving interesting. It's good that the horses don't seem to care!!!
Loved this Holly. A day in the life is not all that different from any horsewoman - if your horses are at home and that is where they should be! It's nice that Hopper gets his sniffs, the chickens give you lovely eggs, your work the boys just enough to keep them sharp. I would love that lunch recipe - it looked delish! Your dad's dinner looked awesome too. I live in Maryland in the States so we don't have quite the amount of rain you do but darn it has been raining quite a bit! My sump pump in the basement has been working overtime. Sadly, no horses, just dogs, cats and fish. And some frisky snails that keep trying to make babies. PG channel here so I won't get into it but I would rather be involved in horse reproduction! Honestly, doing it all like you do is so much better than boarding/livery. You get to decide what everyone eats. How much turnout they get. I love Khal and Dali making their way back to the stalls by themselves. I always thought if I had my own place I would teach my horse that first thing! Thanks again for the glimpse into your life. (Glad you don't stink too!)
I swear our weather here in Michigan has been just like yours. Sun, rain, snow, and hail all in the matter of an hour or so last night. 😂 Ya just learn to roll with it. 😂😂😂 Such a fun video. You are definitely a busy person. All the horses look great and Cal cracked me up a dinner time. He seems like such a sweetheart most of thebtime but he was like geeeet out and turned his butt to you. 😂😂😂
My filly was the same way about her back legs at first and from time to time she will still do this especially if I missed a couple days of going to the barn bc of work lol
Enjoyed the video! 😊 I haven't read that about dogs but on evening walkies I try to let the hound do as much sniffing as he wants, I figure it's his "checking the mail" time 😂 dinner looked wonderful 👍
Love these videos Holly. You were my first foray into equestrians on RUclips years ago and I’ve happily followed your adventures since! So good to see your Dad too. Always top quality entertainment! And equally - it reassures me I’m not alone - to see we’re dealing with the same levels of mud with our three horses here in Wensleydale. 6 months of pretty much solid rain. The worst we can remember. Not going to lie. It’s shite 🥴
+1 on the dad pacing, ive a great photo of a family walk on the beach where my dads about 750m ahead of the rest of us having a great time on his own 😂
loved this video!!!!!!!! also loved to see your dad and dinner looked so good🤩 we have to see more of your dads cooking haha. Hope your mum feels better soon poor thing. would love to send you some sunshine from here in New Zealand the mud looks awful😢
Racehorse cubes: contain they also electrolites? In the netherlands and belgium i can see they give liquid electrolites for energy. Those microwaves therapy is very good, but i see you have to change the position. Why not for example a therapy blanket of Bucas? But i don't know witch system is better? Can't you fix something behind the tracktor so you can load the hay on it?🤔
I was wondering alright. Will you do a blog on it. Even a short one before and after later in the year. How long do you keep them off the paddocks after reseeding. Thanks
Do you watch also the fei jumping competitions? Yesterday i was watchimg the fei nation cub in opglabeek belgium for children 1,25m and youth1,45m.😊 Incredible how those young riders can jump 1,45m👍 Today is for ponies 1,30m and juniors 1,40m on fei channel Ireland took the win in the ponie competition👍
Holly saying about how hard it is to move the large hay bales….. Me who has to manually move a 4ft by 4ft round bale every fortnight into my horses paddock wich is on a hilly property. 😂 the bales I move are easily twice the size of the ones holly is moving.
This is haylege so it is much much heavier. It was tipping our tractor backwards with the weight of it. But if writing this comment made you feel better about yourself then I’m glad ♥️
At the risk of sounding weird, I thought about the Wild underarm deodorant this morning whilst getting ready for the day. Here you are with a code for a discount. Crikey!!!
Don't forget to head to Wild's website and use my code HOLLYL20 for 20% all products bit.ly/HOLLYL20

Your dad is so funny to watch Holly. You are lucky to have his help. Always interesting to see how other places managed their horse routine.

Such a fun vlog, you have a busy life! Here in the East of England it hasn’t stopped raining either, and it’s meant to be the driest part of the UK!
You are busy! How fun, and great to see Daddy-O! You guys were beasts with that bale. 😂❤❤
love love love day in the life vlogssss ❤
Love this video. Pls don't stop! ❤
Bless you for providing such a good home for all of your critters. Living in Mud World here in the U.S. too

I wish you could send some over 💔 more dad content to come, we’re about to head to Belgium for 3 weeks! 😬
Awesome job holly love your happy family, lifestyle living the dream.❤🎉❤🎉
Re Hopper, not sure about energy expenditure, but dogs do need to 'read the Newspapers' on a walk ❤

Very organised routine but do you ever scrub the feed buckets and mangers?
I posted a stable vlog because you inspired me!🤍
Just wondering how you will fix your poached fields? My paddocks are bad too with all this rain.
We roll, harrow, reseed and fertilise ☺️
I was wondering alright. Will you do a blog on it. Even a short one before and after later in the year. How long do you keep them off the paddocks after reseeding.

Hard to say who was the most gorgeous in this video but I’m going to go with ……………
Hopper 😍💕😍💕😍💕😍💕😍

Having also moved round bales by myself (at 4’11’’ tall) they’re much easier because they roll. Having to lift and flip a cube would be much tricker.

Okay that’s spooky stuff! 😂 let me know if you give it a try!
Your Dad lol
