    Wow… how could someone lead someone else into their apartment WITH red flags and STILL NOT lock their doors.

  • @Josh-ct2lq
    @Josh-ct2lq Год назад +100

    Story 1: Ignores every red flag as being coincidence, even when being followed into their own apartment building. Then goes into their apartment without locking the door. That is next level stupid. Hopefully they gained a few extra brain cells after that experience.

    Story 1: Dude ... I'm never going to say anyone deserves to be robbed, but even _without_ someone following you, you still secure your area. That's the point of having secured areas in the first place. And the dude just let the guy bypass literally every security measure, including your own door...

      Thing is, it's not even paranoia to lock your doors. Why do doors have locks in the first place, then? We don't live in a paradise. If humans live near you, you need to lock your door. Humans will always be a threat. Always. It's wild people think it's paranoia to protect yourself.

    Story 2: Red flags and really bizarre
    Story 3: When it comes to stories like this, this is why kids should always stay with their mothers in any public place. Whether in a store or restaurant, kids should never wander off or be left alone. They should always stay by their parent's side

  • @magnus1001

    Story #1 is a classic example of mistake after mistake. Always be aware of your surroundings, cars that follow you, especially at night. Never just let someone in where a key is required. Let the person they came to see buzz them in. She (I assume it was a lady) should have stayed on the first floor and knocked on a neighbor's door at that point. Say you forgot your apt. key and can you please use their phone. Once inside say what is going on. When opening your apt. door say something like 'Jimmy, Craig can you please get the other bags out of the car!' loudly. Then quickly shut the door and lock it. Wake up people. He followed her for a distance and kept pace with her. His
    intentions could have been deadly.

    Story #1: The narrator is definitely not those Karens who harasses their neighbors by not letting them into their building because they don’t know them.
    Also, I’ve noticed a pattern with these creepy stories… that half of the time, the creepy part doesn’t occur in the setting of- or ever relates back to- the theme of the compilation. Kudos to this story to at least still feature the Walmart shopping bags.

    Story #4: I spaced the first time around, and missed that the narrator went to other stores. “Why the heck is there stock images of Kohl’s and Aldi’s?!”
    But much like my comment for Story #1, the creepy part didn’t happen at Walmart; it just started at Walmart when they noticed the man and carried on through the other stores and the creepy part occurred while on the road leading up to their home. The story didn’t necessarily had to be in a “Walmart” themed compilation, maybe perhaps a general “Shopping” compilation.
    This isn’t so much a complaint against the content creator as it is with the subreddit authors that these stories are pulled from. After listening to enough* of these stories, I notice these little nitpicks/pet peeves that I have with story structure. I absolutely love winding down to these videos and I just hope that these writers strive to improve their writing skills to keep me interested to continue to coming back for these RUclips reads.
