When i heard the them at 53:29 for the first time, it felt like i was in the Lord of the rings universe. I sat down and listened to it for minutes, i'm glad to play this game. Thank you
Me too. I first heard it while finishing up a handful of quests which I wasn't really paying attention to. This bit encouraged me to slow down & read through all the quest text and be immersed. Since then, I've been taking my time and reading through each quest's dialog alongside the music, unrushed :)
Music department, art department, location deportment, pve content deportment, quest deportment. Don't you think that's actually almost the entire WoW team?
Cinderwold H is genuinely a beautiful piece of music that will never get the appreciation it deserves. It wasn't in a set piece of some big blockbuster or performed on a prestigious stage. It was background music for a forest on one island in a MMORPG that can sometimes be described as 'slop' to gobble up subscriptions. It is the most heartfilled song I have heard in a long time and the song itself has no meaning. It exists, simply to exist.
This expansion gives the same energy and love that I've felt back in Legion. It's so magical and lovely to log in just to do the quest, explore with your friends or even alone. Love it so far. And you know the music is spot on when you go out your way just to listen to it out of game :)
I keep going back to legion on new characters with chromie, the music and vibe is just too good. I enver skip the intro... Its so god damn epic with the music, story etc
1:26:00 That pan flute in the Proscenium goes hard and I love it. Also the overall sound of the flute over swelling strings 1:26:45 reminds me of WoDs soundtrack
56:50 is my absolute favorite track of TWW. It's so somber yet beautiful. Sometimes I just sit in Ironwold/Cinderwold and listen to this late at night.
One of my favorite themes here is definitely the "Cinderwold" theme by Leo Kaliski. Just like his music from Guardians of the Dream, it's just so genuinely beautiful. I especially like the parts at 53:29 and 1:01:18, with those strings and woodwinds.
I started playing the new expansion today and as soon as I got towards the cinderbrew brewery and heard this (Cinderworld H 52:56), I honestly stopped playing for a few minutes and just sat and listened. It's simply that good, I'm also a sucker for strings. EDIT: It's on spotify, look up Leo Kaliski or 'The War Within' and there's an official playlist. Track 9
Awesome music in this zone, they really made some great tracks here. Jake definitely made a fitting and memorable melody for this zone, something that the others lack (not saying the music in the other zones are bad), something i think he's quite good at. I love the main Isle of Dorn track, it's epic and grand 23:08 and definitely gives Dwarven vibes, but the bouncy and jaunty Country version is just something else, i really love it. It's quite unique for zone music to be so lively and active, could easily think it was tavern music, but it definitely fits the vibes of the zone. I especially love the string variation at 1:38, just so good... I also like some of the more ambient Glimmering Shore bits by Jake, really calming stuff. Adam's work with Boulder Springs is beautiful, i just love the strings right at the start 35:54, and the variations are great, really love the part starting at 42:46. Adam's tracks here and in other zones give me some Witcher vibes, which i love. Cinderwold by Leo is beautiful and is very impressive as just a piece of music for a sub-zone in my opinion, i very much love the woodwind runs at 55:25.
Bruh, WoW always has some epic bangers, but this time literally didn't even get to second location and already this Cinderworld banger... Holy moly amazing, thank you for posting it so quickly!
Rarely I have listened to such joyous music in the game as Proscenium. These melodies are dream inducing. Love that flute and that violin (I think?), even the horns in the background. Parts of the flute's music almost sound improvised at times. Although it is celtic inspired, it also reminds me of other cultures. Great work David!
Attempting to describe the first time music of the Proscenium grabbed me within the confines of a YT comment is dubious to say the least. I literally stopped doing whatever it was I was doing, found a rock outcrop and then just sat there eating my grapes for the next 10 minutes. It is of course difficult not to mention Jethro Tull, but as much as I like them, this music is so much more of a treat. Thanks for posting...thanks for sharing!
I went back to Rambleshire the day after completing all the side quests with mosswool sheep there, just to sit and listen to the jolly music with the sound turned right up ❤
I'd always go out of my way to do world quests I didn't really need in Isle of Dorn just to take in the music, even taking up fishing. I'm surprised it took me so long to just look up this vid so I can have it playing in the background no matter where I am in game. Whoever wrote this stuff... beautiful
All of the music on the Isle of Dorn has caught my attention, especially Cinderwold. It's absolutely beautiful. But that Dalaran music, man... it aches.
There's a mix of old-school Classic WoW, drama film OST and videogame music that is just amazing. Like putting Dun Morogh, Philip Glass, TES: Oblivion, Shoegaze and Hans Zimmer in a blender. Wonderful, wonderful job by the team.
During Tranquil Strand B, the opening motif (flute-type instrument) sounds a lot like one used in Northrend back in WotLK. I can't put my finder on the exact zone, but seems to be inspired by it. Seeing as it plays over the ruins of Dalaran, it is very fitting to draw some inspiration from back then. Great soundtracks all around
I wish there was some way I could hum it to you my man, cause I know exactly what you mean, and what those few notes lead into during one of WotLK's motifs. I can't tell if it was deliberate or not, my guess is it wasn't. Edit: it's one of the Vrykul motifs.
1:23:44, 1:26:17, 1:27:25, 1:30:47, 1:33:15 These parts from the Proscenium tracks need to be highlighted, I really love them so damn much and I wish they were longer, or that I knew if they showed up again in TWW's tracks somewhere, they're so distinctive
Yeah the part of 1:48:00 is really heartbreaking. And if u're on the spot where these 3 rar spawns rotate u can also hear something like a dog puppie cryin (hard to describe). The combination of this song and this voice in the background really fits perfect to this sad part of the story :/
The music at 42:18 sounds like something out of Crusade Kings 2. It has a very medieval feeling, anybody else recognize it? Everytime it comes up I just max my volume.
There's a part in the music (when I'm in Dornogal) that sounds exactly like a section of "Listen To Your Heart" by Roxette... I can't find it here though! I feel it had to have been put there on purpose, especially with the plotline going into the expansion, the radiant song.
@justin9744 Well...until they build _New Dalaran_ that is! 😆 Or that new Draenei settlement that Velen and co. are cooking up. *_Or_* whatever the Arathi have in store for us I guess?
@voiavictor Well I always thought that they salvaged the original Dalaran, rebuilt it and threw it up to the sky? But you're probably right on that account! But again, Dalaran's successor could be that new Draenei settlement that Velen and co. are cooking up so there's that.
i swear tho some of this music sounds like a promo spot for a vacation Ad lol come visit the wineries in the lush countryside of Italy! We are waiting!
Sure, here's this collection of WoW music I've been working on: mega.nz/folder/e55XAYLT#Jo7fvIU6mEw4utYOBtNqgA You can find the music here in the "11 - The War Within" zip file.
I have been trying to find this song in game but I looked 4 videos like this including the official one and I just can't. There is a specific song rolled at Boskroot Basin in Dorn. South of the Fungal Folly delve. It's a forest full of shroom boiz. Literally cannot find this song and it's amazing.
I don't understand how you get a hold of the music. I don't see the soundtrack released yet but even then, none of the soundtracks have this much. Where do you find these?
You know it's good when you stop while questing and listen.
When i heard the them at 53:29 for the first time, it felt like i was in the Lord of the rings universe. I sat down and listened to it for minutes, i'm glad to play this game. Thank you

It really does sound pretty similar to Concerning Hobbits.
In my book this is up there with elwynn music. Needs to go into the book of legends
Almost in Shire…!
I literally said the same thing!!! Immediately I felt like I was in a Lord of the Rings world when I heard that theme!!
Cinderworld music is an absolute enchantment, feels like we're in The Shire, beautiful, beautiful music!
I've been looking for this ever since I heard it in game! It sounds just like the hobbit area
Here for Cinderworld E
I felt like I was transported back into Disco Elysium, that droning brass. So good.
The Music Department literally never misses on the Warcraft team. Such great pieces in this zone's collection!
100% agree!
Music department, art department, location deportment, pve content deportment, quest deportment. Don't you think that's actually almost the entire WoW team?

35:53 breaks my heart, i will always have that music and in fact the entire zone associated with the sad local quest about the old dying earthen
you easy my day i was looking for that one
This expansion gives the same energy and love that I've felt back in Legion. It's so magical and lovely to log in just to do the quest, explore with your friends or even alone. Love it so far.

I listen to this during work. It's a luxury I'll never take for granted. Wonderfull expansion so far.
39:07 made me stop everything i was doing and i just sat there and listened. Beautiful song
1:26:00 That pan flute in the Proscenium goes hard and I love it.
Also the overall sound of the flute over swelling strings 1:26:45 reminds me of WoDs soundtrack
I think it has got a classical Indian music touch to it. Simply awsome
I just cannot get enough of the Boulder Springs tracks (36:00 onwards).
Same! It has such a very medieval vibe. If you played Crusader Kings 2, the music would sound very familiar.
56:50 is my absolute favorite track of TWW. It's so somber yet beautiful. Sometimes I just sit in Ironwold/Cinderwold and listen to this late at night.

Cinderwold has already become one of my top 5 favorite wow music. It's magnificent.
Leo Kaliski is an absolute madman, love his music
Cinderwold was probably inspired by Howard Shore's hobbit themes.
It reminds me of Lord of the Rings. Great stuff!
So happy to hear that music in WoW still on a very high level. This music heals.
I started playing the new expansion today and as soon as I got towards the cinderbrew brewery and heard this (Cinderworld H 52:56), I honestly stopped playing for a few minutes and just sat and listened. It's simply that good, I'm also a sucker for strings.

Just wonderful. The Music in wow NEVER disapoints
There’s been more than one expansion now where the music was the best part for me 🤣🤣🥰🥰
Except for the emerald dream music, the music in DF is not so good, it’s so much better in TWW
Cinderwold is absolutely transformative. My god.
Bruh, WoW always has some epic bangers, but this time literally didn't even get to second location and already this Cinderworld banger... Holy moly amazing, thank you for posting it so quickly!
55:25 is my favorite part of war within music, I'm fell in love with this part when I listened login theme
Thank you for linking this part!
yeeees, giving a strong Satisfactory vibes
1000% agree. One of my favorite melodies in Warcraft history, absolute goosebumps, perfect for autumn.
37:12 the violin part onward gives me so much bittersweet nostalgia

That flute got NO damn business going this hard.
I came here for Tranquil Strand because it's now my favourite place to have AFK in the background - thank you for sharing!
35:54 while I was just gliding over the land was beautiful.. The music just sounds really hopeful, and made me really get into my mind about life.
Gives me Harry potter vibes
All the Cinderwold tracks hit me right in the feels. v.v
All of boulder springs is beautifully composed. Got me emotional
It's almost 1 on 1 with Radwimps Goshintai for the Your Name movie. Give that a try too, it might even be uncomfortably close but only for a bit.
I'd always go out of my way to do world quests I didn't really need in Isle of Dorn just to take in the music, even taking up fishing. I'm surprised it took me so long to just look up this vid so I can have it playing in the background no matter where I am in game. Whoever wrote this stuff... beautiful
34:45 When I heard this in the promotional shorts, I knew I would be coming here shortly after the expansion dropped. It's so good
All of the music on the Isle of Dorn has caught my attention, especially Cinderwold. It's absolutely beautiful. But that Dalaran music, man... it aches.

53:29 one of the most beautiful melodies I've ever heard
When I heard this in game I stopped and took it all in. Cinderwold music is too good
The glimmering shore is so good at 1:40:15
Such a variety of music for 1 zone
YES! This is the one I was looking for!

Precenium B absolutely slaps!! David Arkenstone is one of the goats !!
Boulder Springs B by Adam Burgess is genius level composition - I haven't heard anything like it in a game since WoTLK Storm Peaks.
Yeah the part of 1:48:00 is really heartbreaking. And if u're on the spot where these 3 rar spawns rotate u can also hear something like a dog puppie cryin (hard to describe). The combination of this song and this voice in the background really fits perfect to this sad part of the story :/
1:24:23 Roxette - Listen To Your Heart
Music this expansion is on another level
i never cried so much in my life..from listening to Glimmering Shore H 1:35:08
Same thing with glimmering shore B 1:40:04
The music at 42:18 sounds like something out of Crusade Kings 2. It has a very medieval feeling, anybody else recognize it? Everytime it comes up I just max my volume.
Boulder Springs H with the violin made me think so hard to Statues from Harry Potter 7 and the « Piertotum Locotomor » from Mc Gonagall 💯
Listening to this while leveling a dwarf after 20 years of playing Horde.
Music almost reminds me of LOTR music
LOTR has always influenced WoW music since its inception, it's very beautiful.
Absolutely, but it’s not derivative either. Best music we’ve gotten since Legion/BFA
There's a part in the music (when I'm in Dornogal) that sounds exactly like a section of "Listen To Your Heart" by Roxette... I can't find it here though! I feel it had to have been put there on purpose, especially with the plotline going into the expansion, the radiant song.
Cinderworld is beautiful. I looked up TWW music specifically to find this song.
Best music from the all TWW zones imo

38:30 dear god....
Cinderwold 🔥
I don't understand how you get a hold of the music. I don't see the soundtrack released yet but even then, none of the soundtracks have this much. Where do you find these?
I extract these mp3 files from the game files using a program called "WoW Tools Local".

hi my friend, where can I hear the music at the beginning in Isle of Dorn? I didn't find it in game :(
The "Dorn Country" theme plays in Rambleshire, which is a farm area with sheep.
