best raid at the moment best raid and music too and have been playing for 1.5 years now wow and I already like the game and have started playing it more i will complete hero raid soon
15:25 until 25:25, specially 16:25 / 19:05 / 21:15 are just epic parts (Council of Dreams). My favorite theme so far. And there are lots of brilliant ones! 10-12 of 10 ❤❤❤
When in Raid sometimes i ask the group if they like the music of Dragonflight. I cant believe there is people that told me "i have the music off" WTFF. I'll always remember fighting Fyrakk and this exact piece playing 0:33 to 1:01, Fyrakk almost dead but only the 30% of the Raid alive... shouting "GOOOOOOOOO" and the group killing him. Epic
1:39 That melody is Lament of the Highborne! Neat little cameo, considering that it was originally a night elf melody, and also what... or who... happened to the last world tree...
Always great to have more action music in WoW! Here's my favorite parts, mainly in the themes from Jake Lefkowitz. His action themes seem to be my favorite. Gotta love the Dragonflight main theme kicking in at 1:09:59 for "Dreamsurge." I also like the slightly more emotional part in "Flame Incursion" which shows up at 57:06 which is also expanded at 1:03:52. The choral chanting at 44:25 in "Firebreach" is also pretty neat.
Heya, Sorry to bother you this way. But we have taken an interest in how WoW music works, and possibly make extended versions of them. Can you explain the meaning behind the Lettering (H,A,B,C etc.) of the music tracks? It would help us a lot!
Yeah, so basically "H" is the main version of a theme. It has the most instrument layers enabled (strings, brass, woodwind, choir), and generally is the longest version. "A", "B", "C", etc. are alternate versions of a theme. They have certain layers removed and generally are shorter. For example, an "A" track might only have the strings and drum layers enabled. And "B" track might only have the brass and woodwind layers enabled.
I wish I had time to play WoW again, some of these tracks especially for Dream’s Hope feel very warcraftian which is something that lacked in the past 2 expansions. And seeing music from Russell Brower is just so heartwarming.
Really happy with the raid music, love Jake's tracks a lot here. The Flame Incursion track 56:24 has to be one of my favourite raid/battle tracks so far in WoW, especially 57:57 onwards, love it, the fast strings in the background are also pretty reminiscent of Danny Elfman's Spiderman. Also caught a couple callbacks to the Druids of the Flame theme from Firelands in a couple of Jake's tracks, like at 43:40, and 1:08:29, referencing the Druidsoftheflame_uu1- and uu2 tracks. I really like the transition at 42:50 as well, and the Teldrassil strings from Leo at 1:38.
Yet I'm so glad he did. It has been really long since I last enjoyed WoW raid music as much as this. I think since Sindragosa in ICC (what a theme). But this, is is EPIC.
I've always liked how people are like, "yes, you may be disappointed in blizzard, but their music, design, locations, dungeons and raids are great," while it's literally 80% of the game. Very hypocritical, to be honest.
@@maestrrsantarael6590 nah, its mostly the music, other areas got me mad dissapointed xd, what i like is that their music is always recorded with instruments rather than just in a computer (idk how all that works irl), it sounds so authentic. but yeah other parts of the game dont really deserve as high praise as this

Love these tracks! Aberrus was kind of boring IMO in regards to the music, can't wait to listen to these during prog. I really like the Dream's Hope track - I love how it shifts between subdued and energetic, with the parts at 1:10 reminding me of another track, my brain wants to say one of the 10.1 ones? and then finishing off the song at 3:13 with that classic World of Warcraft cinematic outro
All this makes me nostalgic for the "war of the ancients" trilogy. Only instead of Legion and Azshara, Fyrakk and his army of primalists, dharadins and flame druids
@@nobelmassinaarben2467 Well... it was 10,000 years ago, the first invasion of the Legion (Azshara opened a portal to them). When literally all the leaders of all at that time once came to the aid of the High Elves. This was described in a trilogy of novels published back in 2003. There was even a similar moment when Malfurion fought against Varothen (it was Azshara's champion) and told him "all Kalimdor united against you" And just after these events, the Aspects blessed the new world tree. But in this case it was the opposite
Dream hope has a ton of variation (M). I think that's the most so far? They usually put the most rich variation on the H track and I think they thought that they had enough alphabet space to go before H
No, they haven’t released the music for 10.1 or 10.2 yet. Although, considering how long it’s been since these patches came out, there’s a chance they might never release them. The music for 8.1, 8.2, 9.1, and 9.2 were released only a couple weeks after those patches were launched, so Blizzard must have changed their stance on releasing patch music. If you want, there’s a download link for this patch’s music in the description in case that works for you.
This is progress! I still don't think we have the brilliant leitmotifs we had in TBC/Wrath era--those soundtracks had some incredibly versatile leitmotifs and some *beautiful* themes. Current music is still a bit non-thematic and generic background-y, with a FEW motifs they introduced (and explored in the latest time fractured dungeons), but still... Overall this is great progress, but it's a far cry from the bone-chilling motifs that set us up for Arthas, Illidan, the Night Elves, etc. Iconic stuff like Worgen music, etc.
In fact, as for me, it's more like hypocrisy (or schizophrenia), because if you read the comments under EACH soundtrack to EACH expansion, they will all be praising. Well, except for the soundtrack to 8.2 lol, it was terrible.
@@maestrrsantarael6590 I thorougly enjoyed mechagnome music and nazjatar was okay (could have been better if Brower was still composer), nowhere near awful.

Neltharion feels so fucking epic with Aberrus blasting on third phase
There's a reason its made for casuals who hate MMOs.

So astoundly magical💚💚💚
Wow music never disappoints!
The raid has thouroghly impressed me, I haven't been this excited since Antorus
Maaaaan flame incursion is a masterpiece like holy shit. It made me go wtf during the smolderon fight.
The rising/falling segments of the track reminded me a bit of Ramind Djawadi's "Dracarys" motif from Game of Thrones.
It's so ominous lmao I love it
That Farrak boss music at 1:19:46 lol, so familiar from the wipes.
