Suga’s verse about his mom happened in his childhood. His parents were running a business and werent super well off, but his mom had heart problems and underwent surgery, which depleted their finances even more, so it was really hard after that. he was determined to make money doing music, but it’s such a tough choice when your parents are telling you you need a more promising career bc they cant afford to help you if you’re unsuccessful. so to not burden his parents, he left home and worked part time jobs and made music to support himself so that they dont have to raise him. (this info is compiled from snippets of interviews and bangtan bombs and lyrics from his other works).

I cant wait til he gets on skool luv affair and reacts to the intro. Yoongi's smoothness, plus hobi's brightness, and namjoon's fire bars. It is personally my favorite bts intro
This is a dope way to bring in 2019. Even if recording meant watching off a phone on a laptop in a garage, you were pushing out all the content you could. I can't wait to see how you guys move forward in 2019
"I'm gonna have a dream, a level higher than being an IDOL" This was from Suga's line and it hits me every single time because BTS did not only become iconic idols, they went beyond that! IDOLS back then were stigmatized as 'looks over talent' but BTS is gradually brekaing that prejudice and stereotype not just in S.Korea but around the world. They became influencers that u don't usually see from a music artist (eg. UN speech) and they became ambassadors plus they got merit from the president of South Korea for spreading their culture globally. I'm never gonna shut up how proud I am of Bangtan.
I hope you could read this but this is something Yoongi have said before in relation with what you have said about the 15th floor thingy and it always strikes me 😩: I feel i'm flying too high, i can see so many things and so far away. I thought i could be happy above the clouds but looking down makes me scared. But i'm encouraged because we're flying together. I'm afraid of falling but i'm not afraid of landing. Yoongi - Dispatch 2018
MOVE is one of my favorite songs, meaning when I think of BTS thatv "Ay Yo Suga" and Jin's chorus come to mind. Glad y'all finally know this piece of gold exists. I guess, putting the flashy sound/look/dance/personalities aside, I simply fell in love with the storytellers that Bangtan are.
this is a song i actually only started really listening to a few months ago as well and i am really in love with it, it was a new reminder why these are the artists i got so invested in ooffff i am WHIPPED
Anthony, omg thank you so much for reacting to this and other old bts songs! There are just a small amount of reactors reacting to old bts content/music and it's honestly upsetting. Anyway, MOVE always has a special place in my heart because they wrote the song literally when they moved from their small apartment where they shared one bedroom with them 7 boys in it to a bigger one when Bighit entertainment finally have the budget to do so. It was the start of something new for them. I love going back to BTS old songs because they're not just songs to merely listen to but it's also like books where you read real life stories, BTS stories. I've been an ARMY for 3 years now and their passion and sincerity towards music still never fails to amaze me.
This is one of my favorite songs when I listened to this I really loved the vibe and when joon was like “ayoo suga!” I was just like “yes this is it” 😂
Yeah BTS were talking about disbanding at the beginning of the year because of all the pressure on them to rep Korea and as the biggest boy group. Everyone is looking at them and just expect them to keep doing better so the fear of failing and disappointing people is greater. Not only that haters are constantly watching and waiting for the moment BTS slip up to call them out. At the end of the day they are humans and so they aren't perfect and will inevitably make mistakes and have their limits. All the expectations and attention placed on them have turned into a heavy burden. But don't worry, them signing the 7 year contract shows that they have worked it out
I love that you're working your way up their discography, from their debut. People know that their MV's have a continuing storyline, but forget that their albums tell a story too. Each album is a stage in life youth faces, such as: rebellion, maturity, corruption, self love, etc. Thanks for your reaction, much love!
omg one of my fave songs (cos let's be real, it's pretty much impossible to choose a favorite bts song,,,, their entire discography---AMAZING)! i'm so glad you reacted to this. this song is so beautifully written and produced, it deserves so much more recognition. thank you for this reaction!
BTS has always been almost painfully aware that everything that they have won't last forever, even before they made it big they knew that "they can't hold onto the cheers forever",, which is why they always were and still are so sentimental, they're really living their life appreciating every single moment it's really something we could all learn from them
I'll listen to the same songs over and over and cry again and again. Only BTS has been able to do that for me. You feel so much of the energy and experience they are having through the words and music. It's absolutely amazing how they can convey so much through a song. I love it! Thank you so much for your reaction, 💜
J-Hope said let’s get some black bean noodles bc in Korea it’s kind of a thing to do once you move into a new house/apartment. So basically whenever someone moves in Korea, once they’ve got all their stuff in the new house they order black bean noodles for dinner. Idk why they do it but it is definitely a “universal” thing to do in Korea 😂😂 (p.s. idk if you guys knew this during the reaction but this song is literally about them moving into a bigger dorm, as I’m sure you know from their previous small cramped dorm. I’m pretty sure you knew but I just wanted to say it just in case 😂😂)
This is my favourite BTS song and has been ever since I first heard it in 2015, the story telling in the lyrics, the dynamics and that kind of old school RnB beat? *chef’s kiss* perfection!
I’m so glad you reacted to this. This is one of my favorite songs off the album and the most beautiful moment in life is actually my favorite album from BTS and I have a feeling that you will really love this album💓💓
Suga in a poem that he wrote he said - "we wanted to fly and now it's too high and it's too cold. Brighter the light darker is the shadow". And yaa Jin in MAMA speech mentioned that in the beginning of 2018 they wanted to discontinue cos they were so emotionally and physically drained. They got over it TOGETHER and 2018 was amazing for them and many more to come. Also I m glad u reacted to this. One of my most favorite BTS track..💜💜💜💜
Playing this song on superstarbts is absolutely fun. I remember listening and finding the lyrics, watching their performance from a concert of theirs and it was so beautiful. These guys know how to tell their stories, as well as just advice, in the most perfect ways. Their points are almost always obvious and heartwarming. I absolutely love watching your reactions and this one was no different. Also really enjoy Paul when he’s joining for a reaction.. you got a great friend there 🤟🏼💜🤟🏼💜🤟🏼
jhope: is the most humble man ever and talks about eating black beans n rice also jhope: has a $10,000 kermit the frog keychain lmaoooo i love him, and love this song. his flow was my favorite and actually one of my favorite verses/flows of his to date
this song is really close to my heart because last summer, I moved away from the house that I literally lived in my whole life (13 years; I'm 14 now) to a state that was 9 hours away. I didn't know anyone in this state and it was not only sad because of the circumstances on why we moved but also because I was SO attached to that place, it was all I knew. but this song, especially Namjoon's last line is still helping me cope with it 1 year and a half later
This is my top 3 fav song from BTS. It was so real. We may not be wealthy at the start but when we start grinding it doesn’t stop. We move on and reminisce about the old times but feels good when you made it. 🙏🏽💜
I truly appreciate you listening to their side tracks especially the old ones. Im a year and half in on being an army and their music is definitely an experience and they never seem to disappoint. It’s nice seeing you experience and appreciate them like I’ve done ever since I started liking them. It’s a nice journey and I’d like to thank you for sharing it with us.
I think its a great idea to go back and start at the beginning of their discography! when I first found BTS about 2 years ago (?) I went back listened to all their albums and tracks from the very beginning and it really helped understand the group and their development a lot more! It's very easy for new Armys to see where BTS are now and not appreciate where they started/their journey to get here. Glad to see you going through their older stuff too! :)) hope to see more of these reactions to older BTS songs from you two!
I love this song so so so much. Also I love how you two were bouncing your heads in time with each other. And at the MAMA awards, the last night Jin in his part of the speech admitted that at the beginning of 2018 they were emotionally exhausted and unsure of how they felt about continuing. They had even discussed disbanding. Their contract was up in 2018. However they decided not to because they started to feel better mentally and emotionally and finding love in their music and careers again. Which is why they just signed a 7 year contract in June, I believe.
idk if yall knew but suga was talking about his first ever "move" in his life and it was him coming into this world from his mom's womb when she gave birth to him… he was smart to think of that as his first "move"
The most touching and heartwarming part of this song is RM’s verse cuz he basically dedicated his verse to Suga cuz he was talking abt him and Suga going thru stuff tgt🥺
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! I'm so happy and impressed you did this song! This IS my FAVORITE Bts song. This song really helped me through a lot of stuff like suicidal thought and things like that a couple years ago, and I still play it when I get really sad and it makes me feel better, calmer. Not a lot of people actually react to it so I'm so excited. 😊😍🤩
They did sign a new contract for 7 more years with BH. As Suga has said, he is not afraid of landing but of falling. The pressure of being great was too strong, and of what can they do next. Luckily they have chosen to stick together and I pray for their health and wellness everyday and also those who are struggling as well 💜
I remembered I loved this without knowing what it meant, and then when I read the translation?? I had tears man. I can’t think of this song the same anymore-it’s so special 💖😭😭
This song is literally what set bts apart from any boy band ive come across. I was really shocked and amazed by the lyrics the first time i looked it up. Hearing it without any translation made me think that maybe it's just another meh bside. At the time i was only familiar with their title tracks. But when i read the lyrics, i was shocked how honest and personal it was. I couldn't think of anyone at the time who would write a song and compare their journey to moving dorms. I was amazed by their storytelling in their lyrics because it's not ambiguous and they're very specific and so personal. It's like a breath of fresh air..
I felt the same way when I first listened to this song. I’ve just recently became a fan and I’m starting from the beginning of their collection of music. I kind of went backwards in the beginning getting caught up on funny videos of them: interviews, performances, vlogs. I’ve seen/ heard most of their storyline songs/videos but not all and not really in the right order. So it’s nice to find someone that’s discovering them sort of in the same way. I just got done listening to all of The Most Beautiful Moment in Life album and now wanna start watching all the videos in the storyline. I know I’m late because ARMY has already been red stringing it up in their rooms for like 3 years.lol But I’m glad to have someone’s videos to watch after I do that’s more recently become a fan and is seeing it fresh. You really seem genuine about your interest, and tbh, the past few months I’ve really been digging into them, that’s hard to come by with reaction videos.
I love watching reactions with the two of you because they're so chill. It feels like we're just hanging out lol. Thanks for another great video, guys!
U should search up and read the analyzes of this song online! This song was written in wake of them moving out of their first dorm one which they had all lived in together for years, from there they extend the heart into deeper meaning...
It's one of my ult favourite songs by them. They are constantly inspiring us and it's amazing how they've stayed true to themselves and always stayed humble.
They Made This Song When They were Moving Out Of Their Old Dorm. When They Finally Started Climbing Up The Ladder. Thats Why they Were Talking About The Room And How They Shouldn't Forget About How It Smells. Basically Reminicing. ALSO Paul I Heard That BTS We Gang Gang. Feel You're Slick Pulling That One

I cant wait til he gets on skool luv affair and reacts to the intro. Yoongi's smoothness, plus hobi's brightness, and namjoon's fire bars. It is personally my favorite bts intro
Move is one of my favorite songs. I'm glad y'all reacted to it.
This is a dope way to bring in 2019.
Even if recording meant watching off a phone on a laptop in a garage, you were pushing out all the content you could. I can't wait to see how you guys move forward in 2019
"The humbleness"😂😂that's so true. They still get excited over a cup of ramen and over a 3$ shirt ksjsjsjksk😂😂😂😂😂😂
“I like that the humblest” IKR same, they are some of the most humble people ever
"I'm gonna have a dream, a level higher than being an IDOL"
This was from Suga's line and it hits me every single time because BTS did not only become iconic idols, they went beyond that!
I hope you could read this but this is something Yoongi have said before in relation with what you have said about the 15th floor thingy and it always strikes me 😩:
I feel i'm flying too high, i can see so many things and so far away.
I love watching ur friendships
Adorable 👌👌💜💜💜
this is a song i actually only started really listening to a few months ago as well and i am really in love with it, it was a new reminder why these are the artists i got so invested in ooffff
i am WHIPPED
This is one of my favorite songs when I listened to this I really loved the vibe and when joon was like “ayoo suga!” I was just like “yes this is it” 😂
This song still makes me cry, even more now that they are at a HIGH level
They’ve gone so far 😔❤️
always making my nights a little more entertaining. thank u for the upload, u never disappoint
This is SUCH an UNDERATED song! Seriously!
This song always makes me emotional. A definitely underrated bop! 👌🏼😪
Idk why they do it but it is definitely a “universal” thing to do in Korea 😂😂
(p.s. idk if you guys knew this during the reaction but this song is literally about them moving into a bigger dorm, as I’m sure you know from their previous small cramped dorm.
Move is my number one playlist
Playing this song on superstarbts is absolutely fun. I remember listening and finding the lyrics, watching their performance from a concert of theirs and it was so beautiful. These guys know how to tell their stories, as well as just advice, in the most perfect ways. Their points are almost always obvious and heartwarming. I absolutely love watching your reactions and this one was no different. Also really enjoy Paul when he’s joining for a reaction.. you got a great friend there 🤟🏼💜🤟🏼💜🤟🏼
jhope: is the most humble man ever and talks about eating black beans n rice
also jhope: has a $10,000 kermit the frog keychain
lmaoooo i love him, and love this song. his flow was my favorite and actually one of my favorite verses/flows of his to date
"Thug tear" I'm dead, your friend is so funny lol
this song is really close to my heart because last summer, I moved away from the house that I literally lived in my whole life (13 years; I'm 14 now) to a state that was 9 hours away.
Paul saying thug tears made my day😂😂
they wrote this when they were moving from their old apartment and it’s one of my favorite songs from them
I truly appreciate you listening to their side tracks especially the old ones.
Wow taking me back to the day i'm becoming one of their ARMY.
The most touching and heartwarming part of this song is RM’s verse cuz he basically dedicated his verse to Suga cuz he was talking abt him and Suga going thru stuff tgt🥺
I love this song so much, this one and Path always making me feel so nostalgic.
this is such a.. real song, I love it so much
I got distracted by the little Christmas tree at the back itz so cute 😆😁
They did sign a new contract for 7 more years with BH. As Suga has said, he is not afraid of landing but of falling. The pressure of being great was too strong, and of what can they do next. Luckily they have chosen to stick together and I pray for their health and wellness everyday and also those who are struggling as well 💜
I remembered I loved this without knowing what it meant, and then when I read the translation?? I had tears man. I can’t think of this song the same anymore-it’s so special 💖😭😭
This is one of my favorite songs from BTS. You right, it brings up the sentimental feelings, and the metaphores and story telling. Ugh. I love it!!!!
Nice choice, easily one of my favourite BTS songs. This was their best era imo.
I'm seriously crying right now, I love your reaction💜
It's 2020 and suga's part still makes me cry...
I love watching reactions with the two of you because they're so chill. It feels like we're just hanging out lol. Thanks for another great video, guys!
I think you'll really like their song Path too. Please check that out. :)
U should search up and read the analyzes of this song online! This song was written in wake of them moving out of their first dorm one which they had all lived in together for years, from there they extend the heart into deeper meaning...
😭Rm’s verse always brings me back to when they all shared one room!! Oh god the feels train just arrived guess I’ll just see ya later gotta go! 👋🏼
It's one of my ult favourite songs by them. They are constantly inspiring us and it's amazing how they've stayed true to themselves and always stayed humble.
PM really understands what Yoongi’s like damn
One of my favorite BTS songs and for good reason too ☺️
They Made This Song When They were Moving Out Of Their Old Dorm. When They Finally Started Climbing Up The Ladder. Thats Why they Were Talking About The Room And How They Shouldn't Forget About How It Smells. Basically Reminicing. ALSO Paul I Heard That BTS We Gang Gang. Feel You're Slick Pulling That One
OMG this was the first bts song to make me cry and i had only read the lyrics
Yo thanks a lot for the reactions on the older tracks, I looove it! Enjoyed a lot this one, Move is one of my all time faves, the feelin it gives is just so nostalgic but heart warming too idk 💓
My favorite bts song :(((( thanks for listening
One of my favorite songs
not to be dramatic but reading the lyrics to this song again made me bawl my eyes out
it was me who commented that haha another great reaction thank you so much for this! 💜
TBH, when I first read this lyrics is when I knew they were different from any group I have listened before ❤
