Now I have a car I drive in track mode all day everyday and still get 22 mpg oh and it does 0-60 in 4.9sec and carves up any racetrack better than any muscle car.

You’re thinking about it wrong, the amount of money it takes to fill your car means nothing, it’s the mpg that you get that means something. If your car held 30 gallons then it would cost twice as much to fill but you’d get twice as many miles out of it.

Fuel tank has nothing to do with mpg tho. If you double the fuel tank on any car regardless of mpg you’ll get 2x as far. Better mpg would mean same amount of fuel and getting further with that, not having a bigger tank
