I played 2 for maybe 30 hours so I'm definitely still bad and when I tried ranked for the first time in 3 it was very obviously amazing players were also just starting out in rank c cause I was getting absolutely destroyed every game and then all of a sudden doing pretty well when matched with other new players. Lot of really good players will hopefully be out of the low ranks soon haha
Maybe try looking at Chuggaaconroy's weapon guide! He only has videos for Splatoon 1 and 2, but it's very in-depth and I'm sure you could learn some stuff from it :)

Hey Dude this is just a theory but I think Splatoon 3 really took a hit on difficulty since the broken specials are gone. I know it’s annoying to actually think back on how busted stingray/ink armor/ suction bomb rush was, but we (as ourselves) benefited JUST as much from said specials and it would at times trivialize the game, and turn a 1v4 situation seem winnable. Splatoon has gotten rid of such specials. Even the new ones leave some sort of vulnerability and requirement of team building. I really like the difficulty spike!!!! It makes it super fun to win because it’s more of a skill battle in Anarachy mode which is insane because I thought everybody sucked at this game which I was completely wrong.

During all of Splatoon 2 I was really scared to play ranked for whatever reason, in S3 I find ranked to be less stressfull because of the series system? It made me realise ranked modes are the most fun the game has to offer really!
@@TheAlibabatree I agree. Problem is, a lot of casual players like me will think it's stressful to be graded on how you play. Making that grading more lenient helped in my opinion.

I'm only currently S+5. Close to 6 but been a bit rough haha. In Splatoon 2 I managed to reach X rank in all modes in less than two weeks, and I'm only level 77 in that game. Im already almost level 40 in this one.

@@UnuUO yes but only when jumping. Do you really want to be jumping with the 96. Unless you have an insane amount of IA to the point where you're more accurate when jumping then grounded (which i dont know if that even possible) you probably want to stay grounded
Dude, I have a question for you. Why do X/S+ players, insist in going into lobbies with lower ranked players and spend the entirity of the game spawn camping them? An honest question; I've witnessed this happening a LOT, and I would like to know what X rank players get out of ruining the game for everyone else?

Yeah but your also playing against those players. In A your playing against either good players who havent ranked up yet or A players

Splatoon has always been 90% competitive, 10% casual (turf war).
