I've laid a lot of stone in my time and that's a better job than most stone layer. Great job! Wish l knew you back when I laid stone. We would have made a great team.....
Beautiful work of Art. Something the both of you can be proud of for along time. Y'all did a good job even in the heat. Plus all the camera work. Thanks for sharing. 🇺🇸
Good looking mailbox! Your area is a really rocky place ! stay safe . I would like to see the road that the flood washed out after all the moving rocks,
Excellent job, maybe I'd have the patience for this kind of work if I had one of them straw hats, probably should have a corn cob pipe to complete the ensemble. I know what you when you say hot, this past weekend it was in the 80's up here in ME. Now dont forget part 3.........
Not sure if you know this but in Arkansas there is a law that specifies how solid a mailbox can be. The reason I know this is our neighbor's were sued by a drunk driver who ran off the road, ran into their mailbox and ended up in the hospital. They lost the lawsuit only because the mailbox was far enough off the road that you had to be off the road to hit it. The law says something about a mailbox has to break away without causing serious damage or something like that. Great job on the build 👍👌
Like I said on part one that is true craftsmanship even with the rock i also said most people would not take the time and energy that it take to do such beautiful work it is something to be proud of i know i am for you and I believe a lot of people is
Awesome awesome awesome. My wife and I love all your videos!! The craftsmanship you display is simply amazing. We have been sitting eagerly awaiting these new ones. One question, how is everything after the flood??
It took a few days of work but we eventually got everything back the way it was. A lot of the community came up to help. Overall we ended up having a lot of fun and telling a lot of stories and sharing a lot of information. It is funny how sometimes things that Seem to be a curse can actually be a blessing. Thanks for the positive comment and also thanks for your interaction we really appreciate that
Project is looking great although I'd have gone with dry stack on the stone work. But then again I've always preferred the look of dry stack over all other stone styles. That rain today should have helped, it hit you before it got to us on the other side of the state but it was a huge relief from the blistering temps we've had in the state the last week or so. It actually supposed to get down into the high 50's tonight so that will be pleasant.
Beautifully made, sir! With minor modification, that same design would make a lovely signpost also, I think! Glad to see you folks posting videos again!
Awesome job man! Absolutely beautiful! Hey if you wouldn’t mind maybe making a video of your schedule for the flea markets or shows you would be at or maybe just put it in a description I’d like to come see y’all. I’m sure more people would too. If there is already something like this out there. Please let me know! Thanks again for the videos! You guys are going to blow up soon.
Growing up in rural Minnesota, I learned that mailboxes can be statements as well as receptacles. My grandfather said that you can tell a lot about a farmer from his mailbox. (Yes, he said "his", but don't get me started on that.) I think he had a point. This mailbox is a beautiful piece of work. It, too, is a statement and a very strong statement, at that. Impressive. Thanks for the video! Regards, respects, and best wishes.
