My wife of several years later, was one of the first five Geffen employees in '80. Brought from Atlantic by A & R guru Kalodner to Geffen, I'd spent years in that fabulous building on Sunset, courting my bride of 30+ years, was vetted by Geffen's assistant, Linda L, and having spent years at that building, and having met/talked with Geffen personally, the man was one of the most tortured, yet humble individuals I've ever met. Having been a musician/songwriter/publisher, I totally get where rifts happen between talent, their lawyers & the business, but these people were as classy as they come, considering the era. I remembering being introduced to an old record exec from the 50's, who'd told me Geffen "walked over bodies to get to where he was", but exactly what old fuck on his way out wouldn't say the same thing? Sorry, but Geffen & Kalodner were pretty down to earth & realistic people. End of an era, for sure.
This one is just great, narrating how all this talent gathering at Geffen's Office, just to great thank you. PS: at the end he says he may anyway (fire me) hey that was just to prophetic : ))

Did you know that a group of deplorables from TMZ are accusing this man of being a pedophile? Blasphemous!
Geffen is a disease in show biz. He’s getting his karma
Pos. Ask Chris Cornell.. oh that’s right. You can’t. Geffen put a 🎯 on his back. Maybe ask Franco, or Broden.
