My dad used to hunt, but he hated animal abuse. One day, he saw two guys on a quad chasing down a bobcat, which is illegal and cruel, so he lined up a shot and put it straight through the engine block, then stalked back off into the woods after confirming they had broke down.

I know one time my i did something to dad, i think we were at swaders, and we were playing some VR game- and we were next to eachother, and unfortunately they didnt register him as a person instead of a monster or whatever i was supposed to be fighting there
I ended up beating him up with the corded gun i was given while screaming about why it wasnt dying-
We haven’t been to the VR game since.
This happened when i was like 7 by the way 💀

My dad was on America's Most Wanted. It was before I was born. He did his time. No. I am not telling you his name.

Quick Version: Dad snuck out to play with fireworks, a bottle rocket flew into a car window, dad ran off thinking he’d be chased down by the driver, hid for a while, disposed of evidence and washed the fireworks smell away. Full Story: Late one night, dad snuck out to shoot bottle rockets off in an old, abandoned parking lot in an industrial area (where there was no vegetation to set fire to or neighbors to bother). Every once in a while, a car would drive by. Well, one rocket turned horizontally instead of going up and entered the window of a truck and boom! The vehicle screeched to a halt, turned around and drove away. Dad however ran and hid in a dumpster for an hour, fearing the driver would be looking for him. He returned home, showered to wash off the smell of whatever ingredients make fireworks smell the way they do and threw his change of clothes in the trash can outside. He was never found out. Instead, there were reports of gunfire in the industrial area and it was reported in the newspaper that it was a street gang skirmish. Supposedly the police were going to look into the incident but nothing became of the investigation because *NO* shooting had occurred.

I live at home (for personal reasons), and went to community. One class I took was art history (which is harder than it sounds, trust me), but we did get a trip to the art district of New York City (even though we had to do a paper afterwards). Mom was going to go with me, but the very morning of the trip she got sick. So my dad took the day off work to go with me, and we had a great time in NYC.
It might not seem like much, but it's awesome to me.
    Love you, Daddy.

I have three about my dad.
    1. When my dad was a little kid (mid 1970s) they were dirt poor, and so one day he realized this and asked my grandma “are we poor” and she sadly had to say “…yes” and after thinking for a while he said “but we’re rich in love right?” My grandma pulled over and cried (they were driving at the time) I always loved that story because it’s like something from a movie. :)
    2. when my dad was in highschool (late 1980s) he and his buddy would skip school and drive around to other highschools and walk through the halls, if they got caught wandering through the halls theyd just leave and go to the next school. :)
    3. lastly when i was a little kid (early 2010s) my dad worked at an HVAC company (Plune) and i was walking to gym one day and i see this ladder in the middle of the hallway with only someones legs visible (the other half in the ceiling) once i get to the bottom of the ladder i look up and make eye contact with who else but my dad! and i shout "Dad?!?!" and my teacher turned around to shush me but my dad got down picked me up and said "hey buddy, what class are ya going to?" and i told him, and he said he had to get back to work and that he loved me. :)

Two stores about my dad. First one, he had just had a heart surgery and I was with him on his second night home. He woke me up at like 3 am and told me to drive him to the ER. He had chest pain. I was panicking. I threw on pants and booked it. We hit a construction plate in the road and he let out the most vile fart I have ever heard or smelled and he just said ",um.... I'm sorry cat I um...feel better now" I was laughing so hard we had to pull off the highway to calm down enough to drive home. Second story this was after he passed away (may he rest in peace) my whole life he harped on me about weed being bad. Other drugs too but weed was a big one as Colorado just legalized it at the time. I was never interested (I have asthma didn't know eatables were a thing back then) but the conversation stuck. Never tried in college or anything. Fast forward a few years and I was going through my dad's truck to sell it after he passed and I found pot in his glovebox. I just was laughing so hard holding a peanut butter jar with pot in it. I mean it probably did help your sciatica And migraines I don't blame you. Love you even if you're a liar. Lolololol.

My dad was amazing, while he was fighting his battle with cancer, he was an inspirational speaker for other cancer patients. He helped give them the motivation to fight for their loved ones.
Sadly he lost his battle last week, but he was definitely a hero to many.

Won a bar fight against 3 guys with his bare hands and 2 hand knives and the other had a gun( the guy with the gun got the worst of the 3). Also to get back at his cheating ex wife(note not my mom) he burnt the house down looked her in the eyes take half now B then walked away(no one was hurt in the fire aside from the house). Thinking back my dad was a 100% phycopath, note he has been dead for over a decade now.

@@BBB-Schmuck All can say is belive what you want. These stories I know about because multiple family friends that told me about them so I don't know for sure. But I could believe them even with out the multiple people due to my dad’s track record of getting into bar fights and the crazy violent stuff I have seen him do.

When my dad was in highschool, he skipped class to go to see WASP at an album signing event a couple towns over. They got there early and got to meet the band, hang out with them, and share a few beers with them. He's not so proud of that story now that he's been sober for years, but I still think it's badass.

My dad has a photo with Alice Cooper cheerfully with his arm over his shoulder and my dad has a look on his face where he would rather be 500 yards away from his present location. I asked if he had a bad day that day and he didn't really have an answer for it. He was at work, maybe it was a work related issue? Still, had a laugh at his expense...

My dad took my mom to the cinema on their first date to see the movie Caligula. Knowing that movie and my mom's disposition I am honestly surprised there was a second date.
