I have never seen your Chanel before, these are so beautiful! And simple steps!! ❤ if I may suggest….glueing and glittering before fanning out. Less glue less mess less glitter….?
I love this idea🙌! But I guess after applying the glue and glitter, you need to make sure to open the Christmas tree right away before the glue sets and sticks all the parts together🥴.
Hi it is December 2023. Your video came up today and I really enjoyed this process. Just beautiful. I look forward to seeing more of your videos. Many blessings and Merry Christmas 🎄
These are beautiful. I’m not sure which I like the best, as they both appeal to me! I didn’t notice the white edge at all on the green trees. The fine glitter seems to have hidden the white completely. I do like the color of that green. Very well explained, so into a “save” folder goes this video! Thank you for sharing your talent, and providing such a detailed pattern
Only just discovered your channel! I’ve been trying unsuccessfully to get the folded tree from IKEA when I spotted your incredibly beautiful trees. Initially I thought there was NO way these had been handmade - how wrong was I 😳! They are the most gorgeous paper trees I’ve seen, truly. Thank you so much for the tuition and for sharing your stunning craft 🌲😊🇬🇧
Aww thank you very much🙏🏼 I so appreciate your sweet comment and kind words🥺 I hope you will try to make it and enjoy the process💕 Happy Holidays to you and your family!🎄❤️
They are so pretty. Such a clear tutorial. We made similar christmas decor back in the day but we did not glue the last step but used smal paperclips to close them so they good be stored easier and we used them for years.
Beautiful!!! ❤❤❤ I have sent this on to my sister thinking she could have a special craft day at home or Sunday school with children or friends and family. So lovely and you did an amazing "How to" instructions. Thank you for sharing....❤❤❤
They were absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for sharing those with us. I think I'm definitely gonna have to have a go at doing the Tree, wish me luck. 🥰🐾🐾🎄☃️❄️
When I was at school many years ago, we made paper decorations in class at the end of the year. We made snow flakes, paper rings glued to make a garland across the room, the trees and many more. A great activity for the kids leading up the Christmas.
I too just came across your video, what a fantastic video a little late for this year so much still to do but come early next year i hope i will try to make some. By hand I dont have a machine. Your instructions are so clear both verbal and visual. Thank you. Your home must look beautiful at Christmas
Lovely tutorial going to have a go with the free template. I have just purchased a scan and cut machine, so it will be my first project on it cutting out the Christmas tree template.
Thank you so much for sharing this beauty! The gluing areas are confusing, can you help me with this? I understand that the right side dash lines you put glue on when you fold each piece. The left side, is that when you glue each folded piece together? And when do you use the glue in the red areas?
Thank you for your kind words! You've got it right: apply glue on the same side as you fold each piece, and on the other side when you glue the folded pieces together. As for the red areas, I'm sorry for any confusion-I'm not sure what you mean by that. Can you please clarify?
🎄Estoy encantada con tu trabajo, gracias por ser tan profesional en explicar y mostrar el paso a paso. Felices fiestas decembrinas. Nueva suscriptora ! 🎄🌷
These are gorgeous! But I’m confused as to where to glue each piece to its folded self, and where to glue each folded/glued piece to each other. Can you clarify? Thanks!
@@FancyBloom Hmmm, your tutorial warns to be aware that the spots to place glue on the individual folded pieces are different than the spots to place glue when glueing the pieces to each other. That’s where I am confused. I have all individual pieces folded and glued following the pattern on the dotted lines that appear on the right side of the tree template. Now I am stuck as to where to place glue when I go to glue them to each other as a stack. I may not be the smartest bulb on the tree😊 so hoping you can clarify. Thank you!
You need to fold and glue all the individual parts the same way and on the same side. But as you start connecting them together, the glue places will shift and you’ll be attaching them to each other in different places.
Yes, that’s my question… as I connect them together, the glue places will shift, but where will they shift to? What is the pattern of glue when you connect them together?
Okay - awesome template! For glue: the brand "Art Glitter" really is a white, water-based 'super glue' for paper crafting BUT, it will warp papers if you use too much. For minimal warping Beacon 3 in 1 really is awesome, but it is a solvent and needs 100% acetone to revive it. I'm in Canada and Art Glitter is about $40 (240ml) so I'm trying out iCraft Ultra Bond (Michaels) and Quick Dry ( a Beacon/Unique creativ product, could be Canadian branded) and Hi-Tak Glue - these 2 glues are a H.A. Kidd products. I find Tacky Glue just needs a thinning out and a fine tip applicator and it works pretty good. I started my paper crafting using Elmers Glue All and it is perfectly acceptable but it requires patience because it takes longer to tack. Thanks for sharing this video and your wonderful templates, now back to cutting...
I would personally start with Art Glitter glue for my first try with this ( no glitter, even though the name implies it). It’s a water-based PVA glue that has a precision point so you use less glue and can be specific with where it’s applied. It does dry very fast though, almost on contact. The Beacon 3 in 1 is a very good glue, like a cold version of hot glue. But without the precision point, it can be easily overdone until a person gets a feel for how to apply it thinly.
I just tried making the Christmas tree using your free template. It came out absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for sharing. Do you by any chance have any of the other Christmas tree templates in your website? I tried looking for them but couldn't find it.

I made the angel and I put in too many pages so I see what you mean by avoiding density as you kind of miss the lovely honeycomb design. Also took quite a bit of practice using the glue. I am going to try a glue slider next time. Thank you again (:

Hello 💕! You can do it either way! If you print it on regular paper and make a 'template' first, you'll have to trace manually onto colored paper and then cut. But if you print it on colored paper, you'll just need to cut it directly!
These are expensive trees! How much would they be able to be sold n a craft fair? It’s a lot of work and they are gorgeous. A tree like this would be at least 30 dollars… all the work!!!
Your video is beautifully done. Good pace, excellent audio, clear instructions, and most importantly, lovely crafts.
