Saka and Havertz legit saved us. Saka has hit a whole new level this season, imo. Essentially getting back at his critics with all that nonsensical foden comparisons.
He will deffo hit 40 g/a this season. I also have havertz to score 20 pl goals.

I think Martinelli been good all season without an end product, his defensive work has been very good.

Oh agree, in the final third he was poor, but he was getting in the right position but now, he’s 2 in I think and perhaps the confidence improves.

You mentioned that Arteta may have got his starting line-up wrong but I feel like it was more about rotation. I'm happy that Jesus and Sterling got to start and hopefully, the more they get chances, the better they will get. They were pretty poor today but have minutes under their belt. Clearly, they looked much better when Martinelli and Trossard and I think that's because they're currently the number one choices.

People having a go at Calafiori are delusional. Saliba conceded the goal by the way...he let the defender score the goal and was right infront of him but people calling Calafiori a tall zinchenko for getting burnt for pace once in the game.

We played piss poor today Alice. Arteta tried to rotate and give sterling and Jesus a chance but were wasteful, created nothing. Poor decisions. Havertz, Saka, Martinelli saved our arses!

I also find it worrying when Partey is forced to play RB. Timber and White are out with injuries but thankfully Tomi came in off the bench. I think they should all be fit after the international break and hopefully Ødegaard will also be back. That starting line up today was worrying, especially up front when it comes to finishing chances.
Need to upgrade Jesus in the summer if not in the winter. Arteta to continue on his ruthless streak. Gyokeres would be worth it.

Palmer was shut down by Bournemouth- Iraola only coach that seems to have a plan for him so far this year. Saka brings it every game. He gets doubled every game. He’s on the touch line away from goal every game. He puts in a big defensive effort every game.

Saka turned 23 recently.. Last month so he has plenty of time.. 11 months to up his numbers before turning 24 yrs old.. He might end up placing 2nd or 3rd in that list that Statman Dave posted. Edit: He'll easily attain 3rd position so.. 1st or 2nd he could snatch. :)

Have been a bit unfortunate tbf, look at the xg for Leicester and Southampton in those games, it's like 1 xg combined, unfortunately Leicester scored a deflection and a worldie and Southampton get a deflection today (off salibas foot straight into the bottom corner), meanwhile I see adama traore missing pretty much 3 one on ones against city today and eze missing a couple of sitters against Liverpool
