Thank you. Sometimes I am afraid of saying this because I know people don't want to see what is obvious. Many people simply believe in a God, that's it. But the God of Christianity is the one who sent his son on the cross for us. If you don't believe in Jesus CHRIST why are you calling yourself a CHRISTian? Idk...
I love your personality Keisha, your videos are always so on point and entertaining. As a Christian I completely agree we get so much mockery and it feels weird to see other Christians bringing faith into the wildest topics. @@TinkLulu27 same. For all I know the person I know that told me this is incorrect but it wasn’t intentional to give incorrect information. If you find out anything, I’d love to hear about it
I think people feel comfortable/entitled to talking about Christians in comparison to other religions because of the control and power Christianity has in the governmental system and in society. Christianity is much more engrained in many western societies and, as such, nonbelievers are forced to adhere to those beliefs and standards in everyday life. People wouldn't talk about Christians as much if Christianity wasn't so influential in the system/society.❤
Exactly. It's punching up. It's what happens when any type of power get influence in a society. Christians are extremely privileged in the western world. The group is in a position of power and privilege. It's gross hearing them complain without recognizing many of us were subjugated to their religious dogma without choice and forced to be like them. We speak out about our experience and talk down about it, but we the minority (non Christian) are the big bad guys since we have opinions that aren't favorable.
No I think its because too many christains dont have any respect for the religion themselves especially the ones with some type of higher level status,. Ive never seen muslims, buddists, hindis, etc make a mockery of their own religion like christians do. This gives outsiders the greenlight as well as people within the religion.
This! It’s just like how making fun of white people is okay, it’s just not that serious. Christianity has been a tool used to colonize and erase communities altogether. They already receive a lot of privilege considering in the western world it’s the “default” religion where no one looks at them weird and their holidays are reinforced with time off. Other religions don’t get that and are actually discriminated against in very real violent ways that typically is encased in racism. Whatever is joked about or perceived to be joked about with Christians does not cause much damage-usually the most they get is being labeled as cringe. But they are never dehumanized to the extent of being called barbaric or animals for any practices they do. Idk I feel like certain Christians tell on themselves just like with certain white people-if they’re not catered to, they become the victim.
Yeah, evil people doing evil things in the name of Christianity! And that’s not what Christianity stands for . I think people need to learn the difference
@stephanieonanuga5306 I know this but many many christains do not follow Christ's teaching. So many people are traumatized by the church. From their priest to their treatment of the lgbtq community to many genocides. Maybe christains should work on their own treatment of people and keep their own people in line more than those people traumatized need to know who the "real" and "good" christains are.
@@stephanieonanuga5306 sure, but terrible things stand for Christianity. The crusades stand for Christianity, the holocaust stands for christianity, slavery and colonization stand for Christianity. Hundreds of cultures wiped out, millions upon millions lost to genocide in the name of Christianity over thousands of years. At a certain point you can't keep saying "that's not what Christianity is" when it's thousands of years of history
@@immortalaliaDo you have that same energy for Catholicism? For the Catholic Priests who SA little boys? How can modern day Christians rectify the sins of past Christians? Also, the argument that many Christians are hypocrites because they don't follow the teachings of Christ literally makes no sense. Muslims are HARSH HARSH on not having s*x before marriage. However, many Muslims make the mistake of having premarital s*x and also step outside their marriages. Does that make them a hypocrite because they gave in to temptation? Humans are imperfect and are going to sin regardless of whether they believe what they're doing is wrong or don't believe in God and think they have no obligation to repent for the sins they commit. It doesn't matter what you believe in, you're going to fall short of grace. Christians just believe that regardless of if you fall short of grace, if you ask God for forgiveness and mean it and change your ways, you will be forgiven and receive grace. Do all Christians ask for forgiveness and ACTUALLY change, of course not. But the point is if you don't believe that sin is wrong in the first place, you will not see a reason to change or ever stop your behavior. You'll never see a reason to stop lying, cheating, stealing, etc. If you don't believe in Christ you can make your own judgements on what's morally right or wrong, which is the issue. One person can say stealing is ALWAYS wrong, while the next person can say stealing is okay if it's a large corporation that's gonna be rich anyways like Walmart.

Her content has been changing a little more to the vanity side with a sprinkle of christian. I’m not surprised she did this for clout and attention. Her content is more towards luxury living and her weight loss than it was wig installs like she used to do.
Christianity gets a lot of mockery because many of its followers do not stand by it and hold those insulting the religion accountable. I feel like today, Christians are too scared to criticize those mocking them because they don’t wanna be deemed as the bad guys and stray people away. However, there’s nothing wrong with defending your religion and its tolerance.
I also wanna add that most of the followers use religion to spread hate towards others and they feel justified by saying it’s what god would do and regular normal people feel as if it’s okay to bully you when you bully them back
I don’t think she was joking. I wish she just said she got a BBL and called it a day. There’s no Christian subcategory for BBLs lol. Her choices are her choices, but people don’t need to intertwine God in ungodly decisions. And when I say ungodly, I mean God was minding His own business when you booked your consultation - He didn’t tell you to do it, you just did. I know God loves her and watched over her throughout the entire process but that was NOT His instruction. 😂
I think a big reason people claim religion or spirituality is to make themselves look deep and profound and less vain. Saying because it makes you feel good isn’t a valid enough reason.
I think this is just a way for them to reconcile getting something out of vanity when being vain is considered a sin. I would bet that she has been vocal about other women's "vanity" before, thus feels the need to justify her vanity.
One of the 10 commandments is thou shall not covet! It means you should not want something someone else has. And that includes looks and body types that can only be obtained by surgery. I haven’t watched the video yet but I am interested to hear what exactly is a “Christian” BBL.
Christianity is mocked because Christians pick and vhoose what they want out the bible they should so follow religiously as they claim. Its like they have FOMO so they find someway to connect the religion to something "worldly" as they so claim. They want to be exclusive without the exclusivity. Very performative and pretentious
As a non-religious person from the US, the reason Christianity is mocked so much is over the sheer hypocrisy of the religious people over here. I feel like in other countries it's not nearly to the level of insanity that the US takes it. Pastors buying designer shoes, supposedly religious organizations leaving minorities to die on the street, one of the richest ministers not allowing people to take shelter in his church after a hurricane until he was criticized so heavily that he was basically forced to, etc. The most religious people in the US also tend to be the most hateful, close-minded, and conservative. Pretty much the exact opposite of what they claim to follow. No shade to anyone who uses it to brighten their life without shoving it in everyone's face, but it's so unhinged to say your ass is blessed by god. Maybe you just wanted that butt for yourself and that is fine without bringing god into it. Christianity is toxic in the US.
It’s generalized so badly because people can just say their Christian and non-Christian will believe them since they aren’t familiar with the religion. Non-Christian people will experience bad things with a certain church or group of “Christians” and gain distrust or trauma from that experience and carry a bias against anyone else who identifies as Christian. It doesn’t help that there are so many interpretations of the Bible that it’s not even remotely accurate to the actual religious values written in the original Bible. I even assume the worst when someone tells me they are Christian and I’m literally a believer. (I have to call myself a beliver bc I’m unsure if I fit the Christian standard, I try not to sin and if I do I don’t repeat it if possible.)
THANK YOU for speaking up abt the fact that people give Christianity ZERO respect and say sht like it's not disrespectful, it's art, when you know they wouldn't DARE touch another religion. Artists know goddamn well their career would be over if they referenced say Hinduism in their music the way they reference Christianity. Another day another slay Keisha you look amazing 🤩🤩🤩
I think one of the main reasons people dog on Christianity. More than other religions is because of the entitlement. A lot of Christians have. But realistically, anybody who has an extreme belief system is probably going to have some level of entitlement.
i should’ve known this was coming.. i JUST watched that video & thought, “now she knows better than to bring God into our madness-“ cause girl, what?! you know you’re just practicing your free will & not doing this as a means of worship. 😭 it’s okay to want to bbl, it’s okay to say God gave you the finances that permitted it. but let’s be real about cosmetic surgery, unless it’s necessary, like a rhinoplasty to fix a broken nose/help with breathing or remove painful excess skin, he pretty much views it the same way he views tattoos.
people keep saying “religion this, religion that, why are you playing with religion, taking religion too far” when what we should actually be saying is why are we playing with GOD? it’s not about religion, it’s about God. she used God as an excuse for her vanity (just being real, God still loves her though). “christian bbl” girl what are you talking about? it’s unfortunate that she cares more about her vanity and others more than the Lord/what the Lord thinks of her. (not judging though because i definitely struggle with this as well). all we can do is pray and guide her, she definitely doesn’t deserve the hate because being hateful is wrong.
tbh the reason christianity is the only religion to get mocked because it's institution and those in power are the ones doing the most atrocities, and a lot of people have trauma because of it
“If it was any other religion your career wouldn’t be the same” THANK YOU!! Doesn’t matter if Sophia claims to be a Christian, if she labeled it ‘Muslim BBL’ she would know that would make her canceled but so many celebs and influencers think it’s trendy to mock Christianity but it’s just disrespectful. I even saw a podcast where a girl claimed the cross necklace she was wearing has nothing to do with Christianity,,,like,…that’s literally the whole meaning of the religion😭
Don’t y’all see the woman wanted a viral moment and her mission was accomplished by labeling her cosmetic surgery a “ Christian BBL”. Yeah as a Christian we do get criticism on our double stands and just how many people come and go out if this religion is concerning 😅but then again every man's for themselves
This whole situation is a mess but what really caught me off guard was when she said “A lot of people have had it and they did not wake up 👏😩 but God woke me up.” It kinda makes it sound like if someone passes away due to bbl complications, it’s because God didn’t want them alive idk. And listen, I’m all for following God’s plan. God is good. But even I know “God decided it was their time.” Is not what you say when someone dies from a tragic accident. That is not the serve she thinks it is.
One should be grown enough to know that Christianity is religion with power and influence. That those in western society benefit greatly being a catholic or Christian as its huge and dominant religious that affects those who aren't. Growth is knowing you are privileged, so those under your oppression delivered via religious discrimination arent doing anything but punching up. When you are in a position of status, dont think for a second you are not deserving of criticism. Lets grow up together and stop ragging on minority groups who dont agree with you as an influential group.
People mock christians the most because it's the largest religion and as a result most people with religious trauma, it stems from christian communities. The fact is a lot of people have been abused, bullied, cast out, shame etc. by specifically christian communities. It doesn't come from nowhere.
I don't think she mean't it literally, I just think she was trying to show thanks to God that she survived by using the saying but it got out of hand by the internet. I just think there's too much hate on everything these days on the internet.
Let's be real, she knew exactly what she was doing with that title. It's the title that's just not it lol I thank God on her behalf that she pulled through the procedure. HOWEVER, conflating vanity and God's will upon our lives shouldn't be a thing. Let's make ourselves look pretty, feel confident or whatever without bordering blasphemy🤷🏾♀️
That's fine to say but people attacking her isn't gonna to do anything good either. Like I said I don't think she mean't what she said, or thought about it and just said it without thinking, because if she did she wouldn't have said it knowing the repocussions. I'm not being ignorant I'm just not trying to jump on the hate wagon she's getting. People are allowed to correct her but I'm seeing a lot of comments online from other fellow Christians using this to be mean to her. They are no better, they aren't really that offended they just want something to gossip and laugh about. That's what I'm talking about. @@Mary-lc2xg
I agree conflating vanity shouldn't be a thing in Christianity but look how much people do it anyway as Christians? Most people commenting against this probably have done it in some way or another. Or are falling short somewhere else. No one is perfect and we should strive to improve, that's why we constantly are dying to the flesh to become better. Many people quickly attack others when they aren't even living that lifestyle. That's why Christianity is critiqued so much because the loudest people aren't following the way God intended. But are the same as condemning others. She shouldn't have said what she said but she did, and I feel she didn't know it would go viral. It's her choice to do the BBL and although I don't agree with it the judging and hate other Christians are giving is what I'm getting at as it becomes hypocritical. It's just because she's known others can attack her, but they are the same as her. We are all on the same boat and equal as sinners who have given themselves to Christ for salvation. And even when someone is a Christian to the 9's they are laughed at and critiqued by other Christians. I do believe she shouldn't have said it but the outrage is terrible.@@traceydumase
Religions are not beyond criticism. If we refused to criticise religions, we'd still be stoning gays and justifying it with religious texts. Jokes about Christianity pale in comparison to the oppression of minority groups that religious adherents have engaged in.
One of the things in Christianity is that God makes you and world in his own image. And he has a plan for everyone so, how is drastically changing your appearance a “Christian” Bbl
It’s the same thing 😂 adding “Christian” is just a way to make yourself feel better about getting it. What if they sell cigarettes that are called “Christian cigarettes” you gonna smoke them? 😂
Personally, I don’t care what women choose to do with their bodies. I have my own insecurities and honestly I’m working on viewing myself how God views me. It’s really the whole “Christian” thing that bothers me. Using God or the Christian title to solidify every decision you make in life just to make yourself feel better about the decision is insane. Like sis you may be saved, but you still have FREE WILL everything you do isn’t always because God “wanted this for you” or God “told you to do it”. You’re acting on your own will & your own desires. If we’re gonna bring God into this let’s talk about what God says about our bodies. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 & 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Great video🤗

😅😅😅😅
She really out here trying to gaslight God 🤦🏾♀️🤣🤣👏🏾
At the end of the day, the Lord cannot be deceived 😂
She recieved a lot of backlash from Christians in the video before this viral one for getting body work, and a lot of people were saying "you're a Christian, why would you not love the body god gave you?" I think, and I could be mistaken, that she said that as a snarky comeback for all the comments. I don't think she was serious about it being a Christian BBL.
Yeah, I think that’s what people are not getting lol she’s being sarcastic because of the comments. If anything it’s satirical at this point. People love to find ways to criticize others for the choices they make.
Well with that back story it makes her look even more goofy.
@@sabrinaresurrectedshe took things way too far to even name it that when so many people won’t see the context and she never cleared it up early on in the bud to say the titles a joke. Agreed! I feel like she had a people in her life concerned about her, telling her how dangerous bbls are and why is she willing to risk her life, and so she ‘put it in god’s hands to get her through it’ to deflect people’s concerns but, like, it’s pretty disrespectful to the people who die from bbls…like she’s saying god didn’t care to save those people!

I’m a Muslim and I al all for plastic surgery, if you feel like having it, do you, what ever makes you feel better as a humain. But as a religious believer, I know god talks to people, but god would never tell a humain to go change his creation, especially knowing that the body he gave us, isn’t actually ours. We will return it to him on the day of judgment. That’s the only thing that I didn’t like about it, don’t put it on religion to make it less idk « shocking », just say you got a bbl, it’s fine honey ??? Just don’t put god into it ?

I was even told that in the Bible it says God won’t be talking through people or to people anymore until the rapture ? Someone told me this when I asked about how can one tell if a person is crazy when they think they’re being told by God to do this and that versus actually being talked to by God. So supposedly God says the last prophet he spoke to was the last and there wouldn’t be more after that ?
@@OhDontMindMee Hmm, I'd have to research and read more on that. I do believe God did say in the last days he was sending two prophets to preach the word of God in Revelations but let me look first cause I don't wanna say something that I'm not sure about😂
@@TinkLulu27 same.
Also historically and presently the extremists are responsible for the most horrific inhumane things like genocide & homophobia
No I think its because too many christains dont have any respect for the religion themselves especially the ones with some type of higher level status,. Ive never seen muslims, buddists, hindis, etc make a mockery of their own religion like christians do. This gives outsiders the greenlight as well as people within the religion.
I can’t tell if you’re trying to say it in a good way or a bad way😭
Big part that christian is attacked like it is because many people have been traumatized by it. Big connection to colonization.
Girl stfu, always blaming colonization and religion for everything.
Yeah, evil people doing evil things in the name of Christianity! And that’s not what Christianity stands for

People have always used religion to justify anything from the inhumane to just plain dumb. This is just plain dumb.
SAY IT LOUDERRRRRR
Christianity gets a lot of mockery because many of its followers do not stand by it and hold those insulting the religion accountable. I feel like today, Christians are too scared to criticize those mocking them because they don’t wanna be deemed as the bad guys and stray people away. However, there’s nothing wrong with defending your religion and its tolerance.

Exactly
This is a human flaw mostly everyone has. Everyone has been victim of trying to keep up with the jones.
Christianity is mocked because Christians pick and vhoose what they want out the bible they should so follow religiously as they claim. Its like they have FOMO so they find someway to connect the religion to something "worldly" as they so claim. They want to be exclusive without the exclusivity. Very performative and pretentious
This is also true, I do believe that there is more as to why our belief is mocked but this is def one of the reasons why
👏🏻💯
I'm appalled. Why do we want to involve Christians in this? No. Ridiculous. Ridiculous, Keisha! Wtf are we in Twilight Zone
It Isn't just the U.S, religion is full of contradictions and twisting up words, i'm not surpised
Atheist for life!

@@afisanaai’ll pray for you 🙏🏾 Jesus loves you!

Tired of the instagram influencers and their bs
” I rebute thee flat a$$, *now riiise* ”! Is that it!?
people keep saying “religion this, religion that, why are you playing with religion, taking religion too far” when what we should actually be saying is why are we playing with GOD? it’s not about religion, it’s about God. she used God as an excuse for her vanity (just being real, God still loves her though).

And the story makes no sense. It’s scientifically impossible for a virgin to have a baby.

I don't think she mean't it literally, I just think she was trying to show thanks to God that she survived by using the saying but it got out of hand by the internet. I just think there's too much hate on everything these days on the internet.
your ignorance is part of the problem. her using Christianity next to bbl is distasteful. Put some respect on others beliefs & religions.

Babe as a Christian i need to see where in the Bible this is, did i skip a Chapter/ Parable or do i have the wrong translation???
One of the things in Christianity is that God makes you and world in his own image. And he has a plan for everyone so, how is drastically changing your appearance a “Christian” Bbl
