Good job getting back on the bike, mate! I've had a similar thing a couple years ago, the coughing can get so bad...I could have sworn I bruised my ribs. Hope you get well soon!
i haven't been able to cycle for over a month because of my left knee. i couldn't bend it. i always have to be careful doing everyday things as i feel even the slightest knock could hurt it again. feel like it can easily be twisted. i tried cycling the other day with my new hybrid bike. trying out a new route which turns out to be a rather long route around 65km. i even fell and can feel the pain. luckily, i can cycle home. a few days later i can't bend my left knee again. And, I'm just recovering now.
Hi there, sounds like you are having a terrible time. Nothing worse than not being able to get out on your bike, I hope your knee gets better soon. Good luck.
@@FOB-on-a-bike try to keep positive. I suffer from ill health and things can quickly get out of hand mentally. It can be hard but you've just to keep plodding on.
Keep pedalling! Might be worth an echocardiogram as well as lung tests if it isn't settling after a few weeks. A leaky valve or heart muscle issue can also cause a cough, as can some of the medications for blood pressure (ACE inhibitors like enalapril/perindopril/ramipril especially). Hope it settles soon - shame to miss out on the 'good weather'?!😂.
Thanks for the encouragement. Hopefully the Doctors will find what's going on. I'm feeling a lot better today after my first full night's sleep in weeks 😁
Thanks for the like. The jersey I was wearing is from the Filipino Flag collection from Bicycle Booth (China). They don't seem to get good reviews but I have had no problems with them, quality is good and sizing is okay. I must be lucky as I have several tops from them and they are all good.

All the best Gary, hope you make a full recovery. 🚴🚴🚴
Thanks, so do I 😊 To top it off, the day after that ride I got a stomach bug and was quite sick. Seems to be my year for illnesses 😭

@@aszfalt-betonThanks, cycling keeps me sane 😁

Get well soon.
@@waynekalal1514 Thanks, things are heading in the right direction 😁
I just got back on the bike a few weeks ago myself after I had a run-in with an SUV back in May. Get well, friend.
Thanks for the like. A run in with an SUV!! That sounds horrible, I'm glad you are okay and back on your bike.
Get well soon . Good to see you are out and about 😃
Thanks Rachel 😊

Thanks Mike, I'll be back 😁
I really like your shirt! Could you please tell me where you bought it?

@@FOB-on-a-bike Thanks for the info. Regards.
Why do you bike if you're not going to fix diet 😮. Coughing could be a good allergy as well
I ride my bike so I can eat cake etc. I've been a "large" guy most of my life, just the way I am.
