I wouldn't recommend to dissenchant Deathspreaker, or any card that can have future synergies like that. it was a good card and saw some play and might see play again in the future if DH deathrattle support gets printed
I mean sure... But you have to look at Wild/Duels as a whole.
Is a 7 mana card that cheats out DR minions that cost 5 or less really going to have much impact when you have things like Alignment Druid playing a ton of big DR cards, Rogue cheating out big DR's with Smokescreen (Cast for 4 mana with the minion card), Big Priest able to continually resurrect big DR's (Which has actually fallen out of play because Neptulon scamming is stronger) etc.
Especially given how slow DH's mana cheat is to power out that 7 drop (Skull/Relic are 6 mana cards...)
I'd say it's a pretty safe disenchant. If anything is likely to function in a Wild format, it'd be Big Demon DH scamming out some crazy demons not some DR deck pulling out some weenies.
Bro a 7 mana 3/6 to summon shitty deathrattle minions is too slow for wild
On top of what everyone else said, if they do print good synergy for it in the future, they might just bring it back in the core set anyway, in which case you don't need to own it.
Guys, Zeddy makes mostly good work, but reconsider any card he said to ditch, if it has home in Duels, some really Important cards like xyrella hero card, u for sure want to keep for duels
What is duels?

"Take those recommendations with a huge grain of salt" is a giant understatement. It is best to do nothing, wait for the reverts announcement, and reevaluate after. Probably Zeddy will release an updated version of this at that time.
I won't be surprised if we are gonna see some influx of people into wild, hero cards alone would make me want to at least play it from time to time.
I would if it wasnt so insane to get into 😭 just going to stick with my whizbang pmao
Wild sucks, keep dreaming
@@thema8871 it’s arguably cheaper than standard honestly, tier one decks can be made for like 2000 dust or less if you are trying to save, and even full budget lists rarely cross 4K or so when you get rid of the free legendaries in the deck.
@@everyonesthoughts7151 You better change that name, because judging from your comment it's false and I can testify as a ex standard player that wild does in fact not suck.
@@thema8871 I thought that too, but then after a while I aquired enough dust to craft Shudderwock shaman and I'm not going back to standard at least till new set comes out and even then it's a big maybe.
RattleCore (Rattlegore in Core, i'm 99% sure Rattlegore will be in Warriors core set)
Hey Zeddy you should make a video of all the cards you predicted wrong/right from all the sets rotating soon (scabbs op) I know you've made individual vids, but doing one that reflects on it as a whole would be entertaining to me. Maybe top 10 cards from year of the Gryphon you predicted right and wrong
I loved the fact that you mentioned Hobbs at Cheesemonger. There are just some cards where you imediately make the connection to certain streamers/YTer. The crossroad watchpost is also a "Hobbscard" to me^^
are we getting full dust when we dust the cards from that sets, for example if i dust Highlord Fordragon am i get 1600 dust for it
I never disenchant any cards ya never know when they become viable in wild and sometimes it’s nice to switch from standard to wild
I mean, I guess if you can just buy all the cards you want anyway, sure....but for a lot of people that dust from cards they aren't playing with gets them cards they actually want to play. That's a big deal.
Also, anyone who "never disenchants anything" definitely doesn't realize there is stuff in their collection that will NEVER see play in any format. I went through a couple years ago and got rid of anything that was never any good or the deck it would be in never interested me, and came up with about 30k dust. Just recently, I went through every card again, and especially since all the buffs and power creep in the last couple of years, there were so many cards that I realized I would never have a reason to play because they are already completely outclassed by something else and made obsolete. I came up with another 25k dust like that.
And considering I don't expect Blizzard to go through and buff YEARS of expansions to get them all on the same power level, there's a lot of stuff that is just perfectly safe to get rid of. I don't think you realize how redundant a lot of the cards in your collection are. You're literally hoarding cards that "one day might become viable" even though it's a card that never made the cut to begin with, and has already had 2 or 3 stronger versions of the same card/effect printed, the best of which still might not even keep up with the shenanigans in Wild.
Wild players: wait wha-
There are some cards you wouldn't want to keep, even if you are a wild player...
@@arcticwolf6402 That's why those who came to wild need to know core legendaries for that mode (Loatheb, Mutanus, Genn Greymane, Zilliax, Zephrys the great and patches the pirate)

Don't forget Reno.
i recently came back to hearthstone, do we still get all the dust from the card that rotate?
Should we still buy the miniset before rotation?
Is it cheaper to disenchant before rotation, compared to DE after rotation happened?
after the expansion went into the wild, will i still be possible to buy minisets?
Hi Zeddy, when do you think we will get a first revert announcement? 2021 there was a Twitter-Post from Alec Dawson about coming reverts on March 11. So maybe in a week or two?
Thanks for the guide. I enjoy playing wild from time to time, so I kept all the cards you suggested keeping, and I never play duels. Got around 9k dust from your guide.
I'm so glad to see most of these go
Will i be able to disenchant these after they leave standard?
Thanks for this, even though I'm still playing mostly in Wild. One day I will catch them all!
Cant wait for a fresh new HS year
I like your countent and you seem like a cool guy, I'm subscribing!
Keep up the good work Zeddy
Actually, what I have done recently is pick my most 5-6 favourite classes I like playing (not necessarily competitive all the time), then dust every other class card. That way I can still keep a collection of sorts AND have spare dust. There should be enough dust to almost always craft new decks for the classes I want.
This also helps me with shop portraits. I don't feel I have to rush out and buy every one, but only the ones for the classes I like to play.
Personally, I want to eventually get level 60 and 1k+ wins on all classes, so even though there are certain classes I almost never play, I like to have my options open for when a deck or archetype pops up for that class that appeals to me. I would never just dust all the cards for a class, and lock myself out of the option to play them in the future.
I did that with just the demon hunter class, haha when it came out I hated it so much that I was like "fuk this class" disenchant everything haha
When a card rotates to wild, does the dust value go up or still the same when you disenchant it?
The dust value are always the same, no matter the format.
To me Hearthstone is a collectible card game. Emphasis on collectible. I like having all the cards.
if you’ve you’ve got all the cards you spend money ans therefore don’t care about dust
But you will never have all the cards unless you spend insane amounts of money
Do not dust anything unless you have to guys
Is overdraft better then lava shock in wild for quest shaman? 🤔
Definitely yes.
Never disenchant cards if you don't need the dust. You'll never know when a change is made and you get full value of dust.
I only play standard, so should I dissenchant all of them?
Playing Hearthstone for free over the years i learned never to disenchent card. Other day i discoverd Bolf i my collection and Started to play JailCombo Paladin with him. Good deck Overall.
Quick question, do you get full disenchant value when cards rotate?
You do not only the normal partial
@@MrGamingking98 that's such a kick in the nuts for f2p players
@@AndreLuiz-sr1ro yeah that's why wild is considered "cheaper" than standard because in the long run you can use all the cards forever. Or you can use the cards in duels
Is it full refund for rotation cards ?
Hold on there... Spring the Trap is a probably a keep if you keep Defend the Dwarven District.
It almost always gives you 2 quest procs, often 3. Along with twin shot you can just finish the quest line quickly very consistently.
12:10 I see Zeddy never fought agro deathrattle Priest in Wild.
When is the rotation
Can't wait for the new core set. Yogg is high on my list
Great video, will be nice to start the next rotation with 7K dust extra :)
Of all the legendaries you see worth keeping I had 2. all the ones not worth keeping, I had all except 2... Seems like the hearthstone gameplay is getting more and more random, but the pack opening seems to be getting more and more "guided".
You just keep on "earning" my sub again and again :)
Missed Lady Prestor but i think it's a safe dust as well
Free card iirc
Thanks! Lots of dust for next xpac, yay
Do we know when reveals will start?
Later this month.
I’m so broke I never even knew most of these legendaries or epics existed.
When coming 3rd year?
Nananah, mulverick was good tech against even shaman, it a solid card to hold onto imo
And he is good with Poison Seeds.
I learned from the great whale Zeddy, never disenchant any cards, have every version of every card
As a general tip always try to only dust cards at the moment you need the dust (in this case probably after rotation when building/modifying your first deck), some of the cards in this video are a bit sus and you never know what sort of broken support they'll print in the future, use your best judgement and try to start with dusting the most useless ones.
Love you zedrick!
How do you know these cards are leaving standard? And when? Seems like a lot of cards to get rid of?
Every year, the 3 oldest sets in Standard rotate into Wild, typically in April.
They do this to allow room to add the sets from the following year into the Standard pool.
is guff leaving standard?
Banker is like zola, how tf you suggest to dis?
Demon Hunter is now mid-tier in Wild, Odd Aggro and even Big DH is playable in Wild
I have a question that I hope someone can answer! If I play only standard and I want to keep one of the cards on this list for as long as possible. When should I disenchant the rotating card?
When you feel like it, you dont HAVE to disenchant, do it as you need the dust
@@DontEatSmurfs The cards won’t go away after the rotation? This is my first time experiencing the rotation so idk what happens really :/
@@Sonicalltheway they wont "go away", you just wont be able to play it in standard anymore.
You can still play them in wild and some other modes.
Rotation happens at the first expansion of every year, so right now dont disenchant anything because nothing has rotated yet, but in april when the new expantion releases they will rotate and the core set will rotate too! (So we wont have brann for example.)
If you have other questions you can ask!
@@Sonicalltheway no, you will keep em but you wont be able to use on standard
@@Sonicalltheway wild is where you can play pretty much EVERY card (except a few funny ones that are problematic).
as if i haven’t dusted them already to craft meta cards 😹 ty for the vid
As I Wild played I don't dust any cards unless they are absolutely unplayable with no potential of being good in the future.
I hope Darkbishop goes to next core rotation.
Disenchanting cards on the basis of "they are currently bad in wild and were never played" is not sound advice. The potential is what matters.
logically ur correct, however lets be honest, would most of these actually see play? Probably not. There are a few maybes, like Xyrella herocard since it could go into Amara Quest or something, or some wierd OTK. However, most of these wont see play anyway.
@@mikhailtimonin44 Most of these are actually bad, something like "against all odds" is crap and will always be crap. But there are decent cards that can get better with synergies. something like Death Speaker Blackthorn does have potential even if it never had a deck in wild (or standard)
Recommending to disenchant Bru'Kan sounds like very bad advice to me. Shaman WILL get nature spells in future expansions. Some nature OTK is really likely. 4 mana +3 spellpower is good even for aggro. The fact that Bru"Kan is not a card for any shaman archetype right now is irrelevant.
@@Strongpoint_S Shaman WILL get Nature spells in future expansions.
And Malygos WILL continue to be cheated out to exploit them. Or they'll use Bioluminescence. Both of which are better than Bru'kan.
I can't believe I'm gonna say this because I hated Stormwind, but I'm gonna miss some of the tradeable cards.
they should just add tradable in every set it's a nice little flavour
The Tradeable cards were the only good thing from Stormwind.
So much this comment
tradeable i think is one of the most versatile and interesting mechanics they made in the whole game, some of those tech cards with it should be made core
For duel you can only take 1 of each card so we could keep 1 epic card if we want it for duel.
I am ftp and started playing mid sunken city and I have like 5 cards that he mentioned
Why disenchant cards before they rotate to wild?
Don't do it before. But Zeddy wants to get his video out before the rotation so people don't dust things they might want to keep by accident.
It’s nice being a standard only for player. Just disenchant everything
I’m very excited for the rotation. Goodbye hero cards 🎉
For standard players (whales apart) is impossible to not disenchant all cards that are rotated, if you want to try more than 2 deck in ladder
Hehe, I get a lot of play out of Nobleman. Not a lot of good use, but I try to play it. I almost put ‘the maddest bomber’ in a deck the other day. I seem to run up against Rancor. I’m playing against Warrior, I shouldn’t fall for it and let them punish me but they do.
Nobleman is definitely one of those sus cards in my view, it's pretty unreliable and slow as it is, but copying a card in hand is a generally powerful effect, especially as a Neutral, it's hard to count that one out of the race entirely.
@@KnownAsKenji: Yes, I’m finding it unreliable. The greatest temptation is to include it in any kind of hand buff. I’m sure there are players way more wicked than me who can have better luck making it work. It reminds me of the 3 mana 2/2 neutral legendary, battlecry: ‘put a foil copy of a creature you control into your hard’. I knew that was a good card the moment I looked at it, card raters didn’t seem to notice it at all. The new 7 mana Murloc, ‘eat a creature’. I knew that was a great card the moment I cast eyes on it, borderline, people are going to be saying, ‘why did they print this’? It is sure better than I thought it was or even better than what I thought it was.
@@KnownAsKenji : I think I felt giant murloc creature eater would be really strong but would only be in a small percentage of decks, like 20 or 30% of decks at most, the really annoying ones. It’s not only powerful/devastating, a lot of decks play it. I will say the one card they should have never, ever, ever, ever, ever printed is ‘Defile’. It takes 2 seconds of looking at it: this is a colossal stupendous mistake never ever should be seen. Lol, the poison/murloc combo is pretty strong. Lots of decks can’t deal with it or often can’t find a way to deal with it, even some decks that are not straight aggro. I’m slumming in the low-ranking part of the ladder, so, I donno.
If you don't have use for the dust, and you're content with what you have, dont dust anything.
Dust in currency form or card form is still dust.
SO, Unless you actually NEED the dust to improve your game/enjoyment, don't dust anything.
Important to remember, leave 1 copy of the card for collection achievement
I'm very certain the game 'marks' it as having collected it, even if you dusted it. I dusted my Naxx cards on my old account and I still got the Diamond Lotheb.
@@AndrewO83 for me, it didn't work, maybe u bought Naxx after achievement system
I don't dust anything unless I have duplicates
Never disenchant cards if u dont need dust right now.
Pirate warrior is still busted so keep that warrior quest guys
Ayo are you crazy ???? UNNERFED THE HUNTER QUEST ????! THIS QUEST IN WILD IS SO FCK TOXIC MY GOD I ALMOST ONLY FACE THIS
trade was a cool mechanic that was printed for all the wrong useless cards relative to the meta, real shame, but i mean the undead tribe is also pretty useless so it's typical blizzard to print a new arch type that falls flat and is never buffed
Np, thanks.
i just came back to HS and i opened gold pack which had a legendary, but guess what!! it had a signature card ... (blue one and its uncraftable) how is this even possible?? it should have been 1600 dust for me as it was a golden legendary... how can golden packs contain this ????
Signature cards have a small chance to appear and when they do they replace a Common card in a pack with an uncraftable Legendary.
So, you lost out on only 40 dust from not being able to disenchant the Golden Common that it replaced.
However, if you ever open up a normal (Or Golden) version of that Legendary in a pack in the future, you'll have the option to reroll it for free into another random one you don't own from the same set.
@@tarille1043 thanks

Wild blows and i dont want a single disenchantlable card in there. So thank you for this.
Honestly I would never disenchant. Who knows, someday that card will be good on certain mode or you need all collection to unlock diamond version of a card
Well these expansions already had Diamond cards for collectors
don't dust Roame if you want to play blood deathknight
Hearthstone is such a 'feels bad man' game because of it's stupid ass cost.
do I get full dust value since they are getting removed? similar to nerfs. if not this is a big L wasted video
im dusting everything that goes to wild because otherwise its impossible playing free2play
they can still nerf wild cards, so you can get free dust.
Disenchant Guff wut?😂
Dont do it, you never know when you want to do some kind of creative deck of if X will be an archeotype on the future. Just keep your cards, most times they are usefull for duels or tabern brwls who let you use will cards.
Its a terrible tip overall.
im af2p so sadly everything the last 3 sets gave me are being disenchanted for this next one , wish we got more gold from the tavern pass , grindy bullshit
Why would people DE cards they haven’t used till now just because they are rotating?!?!? They either have DE‘ed them a long time ago or won’t bother now either
hello
I wouldn’t disenchant any card especially legendaries since cards like aviana were trash but got better from one card (Kun)
They really out here making some of the worst cards Diamond, Brukan is one of the weakest of the Mercenaries, Olgra and Enrage Warrior newer reached the highs of the other archetypes, Balinda put in some work, but generally not the most metadefining cards.
Next up: Diamond GOLDSHIRE FOOTMAN 🤣and the animation is... no animation, just a wink.
That's why they should make Diamond cards after their release. To make sure they are worth having a Diamond version.
At least Zephrys is a diamond card and we all know he'll be good at least for the next few years (unless power creep will go THAT crazy)
Bad advice. Always keep a full collection.
Fucking finally! That plague of a card called Guff leaves standard! Good riddance, it won't be missed
I disagree with Primordial Protected when he said: "wouldn't keep that for wild either". I actually use it in Wild with my Druid to pull out my "Tree of Life" and "Celestial Alignment". But you can't disenchant the golden version anyway, you will always have it. I just disagree with his opinion on it. This type of card can always be used to pull out that one key spell you really want.
You are NOT all the HS playerbase.
+ disagree with dusting mage card: Ignite. It is still possible to get the combo.
@@N12015 Yes, i am every single Hearthstone player. I am the entire community.
Zeddy talks about people who want to be competitive in Wild formats.
People playing meme decks at pleb ranks can use all the trash cards they want.
@@tarille1043 no shhhh sherlock...
The obvious point i was making is that he's wrong about Primordial Protector having no value. It's already useful right now + any big spell in the future that's important to a certain deck could be drawn using this. So, that makes Primordial Protector a card you want to keep.
Ignite is also a keeper right now or in case of new minion synergy or reverse nerf of Apprentice.
Clickbait Score: 0/10. Honest recommendation video.
needless! hearthstone is a card collection game - we dont need a whale, who suggests disenchanting cards. HS is more than climbing on ladder. And what if one of these cards is going to play well after the release of the next expansion. Zeddy, please save this kind of article. thanks
Sorry, but i play Wild
just disenchant every card that rotates, wild doesnt exist
So because you don't play Wild, nobody else should? Terrible advice.
Enjoy that terrible return of 25% dust back every year. What a scam. Wild is original format anyway.
just dust everything that isn't meta right now, which is almost everything. and don't play wild. just don't.
Ew gross, playing wild
Zed's disenchant recommendations here are absolute common sense for F2P and 'baby out with the bathwater' for those of us who arent whales necessarily but also dont mind 3x preorders a year, maybe a tavern pass or two if we want the skins, and 1-3 $20 bundles. still spending far too much than we should be for a video game (esp in this economy) but
deep and obscure cards are fun is what im saying. for the occasional tavern brawl or w/e , or trying out a markmcz womby comby
