My mum is 63 and has been a gamer ever since she first visited arcades. So I knew she'd love this one, and she did - she told me it took her right back. :) I would only have been a few years old when the game came out in arcades!
I went to the Outrun arcade machine regularly. And practiced. and practiced. Always drifting around to this song, for some reason wearing gym gloves? And drumming on the steering wheel to the beat of this song. I noticed I started to gather a crowd of kids. I had every turn memorized in my head. I got in the groove and the song helped a lot. Finally, after a fortune of quarters spent I finished... the easiest route. That was the end of my Outrun career, gotta stop when you're on top.
I don’t know if I could name a group of musicians who are consistently producing this immaculate level of output EVERY SINGLE SONG. y’all simply are not capable of missing. It blows me away every upload!
How about that brief but absolutely lovely cello solo at 3:15? Jared Schonig on drums ate, and left no crumbs as usual. Superbly outstanding work as always!!!
Amazing. I've never felt any of the re-imaginings of the original chip-tune did anything but take away from the magic, but this added to it enormously. God I with I could hear the same treatment given to Magical Sound Shower or Splash Wave.
Doesn't stray far from the original at first blush, the the parade of tweaks, additions, tiny mode changes, and fantastic solo work really combine to change the mood - from a classic summer driving city pop breeze to something that feels like it's really telling a story. It's the little things that add up here. Absolutely splendid.
Unbelievable! My favorite tune in the game. Those lush strings are just beautiful! If there's ever OutRun 3, this version *must* be licensed for the game.
I played this in the 80s. Remember being blown away by the graphics and steering wheel. And the music was amazing. It really deserved being covered by a big band. This was a great version. Thanks for doing it. ❤

You’ve completed my life with this performance. There is a stretch of road near my house North of San Diego lined with palm trees on both sides that I’ve always said is my real life Outrun. I admit I don’t have a red convertible but a blue Camaro. However, this was the final touch. I have now driven this stretch with Passing Breeze blaring multiple times. Thank you.
I wasn't even looking for this song but I stumbled on it while I just happened to be in an "obsessing over old-school Sega" mood. You all did a fantastic job of bringing one of the greatest Sega songs of all time to life. I hope this isn't the last time you cover an Out Run song... or a non-Sonic Sega song.

The entire original OutRun soundtrack would be nice, it's only four tracks after all. Could also be a nice opportunity to bring back Let's Play Live (separately, based on the individual arrangements, OutRun as a game might not be ideal though).

Yesterday, I completed "Hong Kong" course on "Outrunners" for the first time ever - I had selected "Passing Breeze" for my music! The drum solo section was fantastic - thankyou so much!

I always give a listen every time a new video from you guys is notified. I had a great time playing the PSP version of Outrun when a friend lent me the game and console for a while. It did have this song in a samba rearrangement, which I loved. I wasn't sure which route you guys would take with this Sega classic, but when I first started to hear the notes and recognized the song, I knew I wasn't going to be disappointed. Keep up the good work.
