- The cast of Matilda the Musical performed at the Royal Variety Performance 2021 at the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday, 18th November and the programme was broadcast on ITV on Sunday 19th December. Zoe Simon, who played the lead role of Matilda, was joined by the original West End Matildas, Cleo Demetriou, Eleanor Worthington Cox, Sophia Kiely and Kerry Ingram. The musical celebrated its 10th anniversary in the West End this year.

Omg! Some of the kids from the West End cast showed up in the Netflix film! I live in the USA, so I had no idea.
Most of the children in the West end cast Were in the film as background but Andrei shep is Bruce and in the film is nigel!

it's part of the choreography! he says "she should take her hammer and S-H-U" but the U is made by the other kids singing "you". bruce covers his mouth bc he said something risky, they always do that!
