Training Chests are also considered furniture, so you can buy them from furniture merchants. I got 3 from the one in Myselia (i moved my home to the east of there) in the span of 2 months.
Maxing Scavenger is pretty op that you don't even need to worry getting hurt by traps plus sometimes you get textures material good for making fireproof+acid proof pouch.
My favorite thing to collect from Scavenger is Paper Ingots. Using those to make some of the lightest furniture to stick in my Paper Tent means I'm working on bringing a base around in my pocket at all times.
IIRC, the Scavenger perk also ups the chance of getting microchips from those electronics wrecks (and better/more items in general from any wreck), so it' doubly-worth it.
The introduction to lockpicking that this game gives you is nothing short of insanity. A chest far too high level for you to pick is dropped on top of you intentionally, and you're not even given the lockpicking skill for you to train with. It's just crazy to me - I really want some of what the dev is smoking.
thanks for the useful guide, and one question is how do you see detailed information of the enemy Golem like that? is that a mod or in game setting, thank you.
fun fact practice chests are a crafted item!
kettle can copy them
Pick the chest in your inventory for no wait time.
Thank you so much for getting right to the point, instead of taking a half hour to waffle about everything in the game.
